well, the seller responded to my different colour gradient rainbow keys.
it seems that everytime he receives stocks, the gradient varies. he does not have control over it, it all depends on luck on which gradient of rainbow he receives from the factory thats making the keycaps. it has never been the same, and apparently, many previous buyers left comments on his page about this non-consistent rainbow gradient colour problem. QUOTE(kaysa @ Jan 18 2013, 12:43 PM) it depend on what logo/image you want, ok,thanks for helping~ABS has different technique to print, the most common one is pad print, will fade very fast. laser can do on PBT or ABS, they will burn groove on the key, but after, hole burn can fill with color, will last longer, if no filling or filling not even, the key will feel not flat. then is Double Shot, can be done with ABS or PBT, at the moment only ABS commercially available, made of 2 different mold, so will become 2 color for one key, too detail design cannot be comply. and sometime when used, the key will wear down uneven, then you can feel some part of the key is not even. Dye-sub, only can be done on PBT keys, and can only print darker color on lighter color key. eg.. black on gray, gray on white, but can print as detail as photos on a key. this key will feel most flat, won't have any uneven feeling on the surface. depend on what your design to do on a key, you can choose method and materials. |

QUOTE(GodJesterZ @ Jan 19 2013, 12:08 AM) have u try it with starcraft 2 or dota 2 ? I believe it all depend on personal taste.need to know this coz at shop i just get to press but i dont get to play a game with it. I own 2 MX blue, and still love blue. BWU dead, now using shine2. Did order keycool 84(Black) + Keycool USB Numpad(clear). Haven't receive it yet. Try out red, not my liking. Friend of my like the blue over the brown due to the sound. Didn't own dota2, but do own SC2. Working fine. Playing GW2 and D3 with Mx blue too. Feel good. I believe you need to get a keyboard suit to your taste(switch) and ergonomic to your hand. Personally, I found out BWU height is suit to my hand where else shine2 is abit higher which I feel a cushion require and the slope of the keyboard is lower compare to BWU. Hope it can help you. |

I had Blue Switches, Black Switches, and now Brown Switches, it's really all about preference, I have to agree that the Blue Switches are really the best for typing because the tactile feedback makes you feel like you're actually doing something. That's just personal preference though, I love my Browns either way. <3

Anyway, you should try out mx clears, those are like brown but rougher, and softer than blues, it's like in the middle of brown and blue with tactile! |

QUOTE(GodJesterZ @ Jan 19 2013, 01:08 AM) have u try it with starcraft 2 or dota 2 ? If you type and play a lot, I would recommend brown switches, but if you love tactile, then MX Blue. I have an MX Blue keyboard last time, and used it for gaming. Although it feels good to type on mx blue, gaming it really doesnt suit me, brown comes in the middle of gaming and typing. black is good for gaming too, but get ready to type on a steel bar. i personally wouldn't recommend red, they're too soft (yes some things are good in soft need to know this coz at shop i just get to press but i dont get to play a game with it. one thing you need to know, despite what we say, some might be true, and some are just personal preference. you need to try them out yourself and then know which switches you are down with then we can recommend you keyboard branding. switches are important, i have tried almost all of them and brown fits the most for gaming. i'm more into ergo clear switches now tho! |
