I believe it all depend on personal taste.
I own 2 MX blue, and still love blue. BWU dead, now using shine2.

Did order keycool 84(Black) + Keycool USB Numpad(clear). Haven't receive it yet.
Try out red, not my liking.

Friend of my like the blue over the brown due to the sound.

Didn't own dota2, but do own SC2. Working fine. Playing GW2 and D3 with Mx blue too. Feel good.

I believe you need to get a keyboard suit to your taste(switch) and ergonomic to your hand.

Personally, I found out BWU height is suit to my hand where else shine2 is abit higher which I feel a cushion require and the slope of the keyboard is lower compare to BWU.

But desoldering the LED might take some afford. And the Razer PCB is not a really a good PCB.
