Thats what I told myself a month ago. But when I switched over to Note 2, I can do more with my Note than an iPhone. Sometimes its good to try different things in life, I believe once you try out the Note 2, there are significant differences which you will find interesting.
Although the Note 2 does not have a solid built quality of the iPhone, it does have a powerful specs to do things that an Iphone cant.
Solid build have many meaning do you mean feel solid? Or solid build to witstand drop?
Its tough for loyal supporter of ios to weight the difference because even they tried note 2 they will find reason to dislike it. This is not due to the phone but mindset.
From my experience of using multiple OS is like if I pass an android to an iphone user they will be lost in the phone functions.
But if u pass an android user an iphone they can master the phone within seconds there are pros and cons.
Pros
Its easy and efficient.
Anyone and anybody can use
Cons
in long term it will create an illusion in their mind.
If the user do not get out of this they will get stuck in a reality created by them = laziness. That's why if you notice not many able to switch to android because the learning curve is high.
They dont see android appealing because adepting and growing is hard for ios they call it the comfort zone.
If you compare note 2 and iphone 5 side by side clearly is note 2 wins but iphone user they still can find reasons to make them feel better. Then they will defend their believes all the way.
They fail to understand is not about what you believe but what the user prefers.
This just my opinion no offense to anyone.
