Ahhh after the iP5 avail. here, then the poll suddenly changes again?
Hehee, hail to iPhone~

But as others said, iPhone & Note are different category. So it is unfair to compare both item..

Is depend on the personal usage as well.

Many Note2 user not because they wan c movie everyday. The bigger screen provide the bigger view of the webpage & documents. Is more like those ppl bring along a small lappy at pocket.

Thats what I told myself a month ago. But when I switched over to Note 2, I can do more with my Note than an iPhone. Sometimes its good to try different things in life, I believe once you try out the Note 2, there are significant differences which you will find interesting.

Although the Note 2 does not have a solid built quality of the iPhone, it does have a powerful specs to do things that an Iphone cant.
*
Solid build have many meaning do you mean feel solid? Or solid build to witstand drop?

Its tough for loyal supporter of ios to weight the difference because even they tried note 2 they will find reason to dislike it. This is not due to the phone but mindset.

From my experience of using multiple OS is like if I pass an android to an iphone user they will be lost in the phone functions.

But if u pass an android user an iphone they can master the phone within seconds there are pros and cons.

Pros
Its easy and efficient.
Anyone and anybody can use

Cons
in long term it will create an illusion in their mind.
If the user do not get out of this they will get stuck in a reality created by them = laziness. That's why if you notice not many able to switch to android because the learning curve is high.
They dont see android appealing because adepting and growing is hard for ios they call it the comfort zone.

If you compare note 2 and iphone 5 side by side clearly is note 2 wins but iphone user they still can find reasons to make them feel better. Then they will defend their believes all the way.

They fail to understand is not about what you believe but what the user prefers.

This just my opinion no offense to anyone.

Iphone user fail to tell the difference

Back then I carry an iphone and ipad everywhere so the burden are maintenance of two items

Aka battery
Aka data plan.
Aka must take care of two items

Iphone user will say aiya just share the internet no need get both.

Sharing internet
No.1 drain more battery
No.2 stability
No.3 troublesome to need go thru a few extra steps.

Iphone user will say aiya just get data plan for ipad 3g.

No. 1 the device more expensive
No. 2 need to pay extra for data plan.
No. 3 cant make phone call.

So for ppl that do not like to carry so many devices note 2 kind of solve their problems.

Iphone user will usually say
No.1 aiya no ips display not sharp
No. 2 aiya cant use the note 2 with 1 hand need use 2.
No. 3 or they end up saying ios more apps.
No. 4 or they start telling you whether you need or not the functions.

So for those that got the note 2 because its the combination of a phone and tablet = phablet .

Since then I only take out my ipad to play games beside that I just keep in the car or except if I have presentation when needed. Even my ipad 3g data plan i canceled it. Now full 1gb to my note 2 so when necessary only I let my ipad share my internet.

Conclusion not everyone like to carry many devices everywhere.

The size is just nice as a phone not too ridiculously huge, a screen size is enough to enjoy tablet experience. Battery life fair enough for heavy usage and its an all in one.

For the price of one I get to enjoy both worlds. Compare to iphone and ipad I need at least 3.5k to 4k and still cant get both experience combined. So conclusion it depends on individual. Maybe ios user like to carry many devices or maybe due to the apple logo. For me the less device I carry the better

There are several 'soft' parts that I've noticed on my Note 2. Especially the back 'interchangeable' cover. Even though the phone is fully sealed and closed properly, cannot help but notice that there are several areas are rather squeaky when pressed. iPhone on the other hand, does not have user replaceable parts, that is why it does not have any squeaks. But in terms of drop, I believe the Note is more fragile due to its larger screen.

I was an Apple guy all the way until I switched platforms. Made me realize the things that Android has more to offer than I know. Although I am still in love with WP thou, itching to try 8 after using 7 and 7.5 sweat.gif

Yea if u didnt said it I dont notice the squeaky thingie. Nah think it this way bigger not necessary more fragile lets me explain. I accidentally drop my note 2 when it drop the back cover and battery flew out compare to iphone when it drop it will absorb all the impact.

It also depend which angle it drop especially note 2

Aiyo guys... these 2 products are just a phone. Why make the fuss of deciding which one is better? Different people likes different things. Some like it small, some like it big. Some like it fat, some like it thin. icon_rolleyes.gif

nope im not mad.. just stating the obvious on you saying why people que up for a phone..

I don't even need to block.. u just need to understand not all people are going with your interest..

WOrship? so I buy an Iphone so its call worship? that's kinda stupid cause I buy it cause im interested to get it.. not worshipping it..

Its a device I use comfortably that other OS phone failed to deliver..

No need to label iphone fans a worship to the phone.. they are interested to get the phone.. not worshipping the phone..

Just like u with your "Lumia Craze" on the other thread...

Wondering who is the EMO here ..

LOL

Actually the ip5 users , most of them here are obvious iPhone " fanatics" . They do not take nicely to criticisms. Seriously I also have the iphone 5. I let all the excitement die down nad just got it yesterday from Celcom. No need to even queque for it. Went in and came out within 20 minutes. Unlike KL or those bigger cities, there are plenty of stocks at Celcom in my place. I was told i was only one of the few buyers who took up the phone
I dont really find anything so great about the phone ( other than a smooth UI) . And this is not my first iphone. I paid a premium of RM 1200 for the very first iphone and has since upgraded to iphone 3, 3gs, 4 and 4s. The way some users praises the phone is just unbelievable. it is definitely not the best smartphone and there is no best smartphone yet as far as i am concerned

Using the word " crap" is bad. If androids are crap than there are many million users in the world using crappy phones.
this is what i called "fanatics" posting irresponsible statement
Honestly i can tell you i still prefer my Note 2 over this iphone 5 anytime , any day . I will not go into debate why as it is just my own assessment and my own needs of a smartphone. the ip5 is a good phone but definitely not the best and neither would I say Note 2 is the best. It is just i prefer the Note 2 usage most of the time
Perhaps this link will give you an idea of Android market share

I'm also Apple fans as I use Ipad, Ipod touch, IMac & Macbook. But for smartphone I choose Android as they are much2 superior & better than IOS. So choose GNote2. You will not regret it.
