as you run away from them, the lightning will periodically hit them. Slow time bubble also able to slow their movement speed. If you're lucky enough, frost them and kill them asap.

Not that i think AR is unimportant, is just that sometimes elite mobster affixes are too godly that the effectiveness of AR seems to be 'not helping'. If my Arcane Resistance is at 900, i still wouldnt want to stand still against multiple arcane lasers. That's why for me LOH and LS are more important, combined with iAS. Looking at how miskin i am, the money to be used is lean towards buffing up LoH and iAS rather than AR.

i wonder though,

the tal rasha set item bonus (fire % damage, cold % damage and lightning % damage)

does that add up to one's current dps even when he/she doesnt have fire or cold or lightning damage?

Zuni set is good though. for 3 piece you have 130 intel extra and 55 AR. Very good for Archon Build if you ask me.

im using living lightning instead of wicked wind, same success with wicked wind as my primary attack. Still able to frost while do lightning damage. It's like in Naruto, where i have kekkai genkai. Oh wai.

With me focusing on increasing CC and also iAS (note i focus more on CC cos living lightning AS is super duper fast, so im shifting my priority again).

in terms of AOE and arcane power cost, its so much efficient. Not to mention, LOH and life steal works tremendously well with Living Lightning. It's as good as wicked wind as well but with no arcane cost. Now imagine if i sacrifice one of my passive skill for Arcane Dynamo/Stun Lightning? Imagine the efficiency against elite packs.

Last night i tried living lightning as primary and blade magic with life steal. Im a vampiric snow man aite.

my aspd is about 2.46 and CC is only 35%. Most of you have way higher AS and CC than me, so definitely its much more effective. However, based on my observation if one wants to use living lightning, focus more on increasing CC. It's only right, yo

it wont work well with mini boss and big boss i think. It's alright though, since permafrost is much more damaging compare to stunning. If stun is not good enough, there's where arcane dynamo shines.

do try it mayn. No harm. Probably just a little adjustment in terms of priority. Like others, im from wicked wind build so based on my experience last night, there's no major changes in my game style. The only difficult part is assmodan (aside from some silly mistakes i did =.=) but that's because of my low LOH and CC%. So to those who have better same type of build may see better result than mine.

In terms of priority/ importance, based on my observation:

wicked wind = iAS > CC. In short, i see people tend to focus more on iAS.

living lightning = CC > iAS. Living lightning is fast. In fact its too fast, so i guess higher CC% work much more efficient compare to AS.

ceteris peribus, CD and LoH are suffice. Plus, we're solely refering to frosting/locking mobs.

yup, i moved from mp 1 - 3. So far, results are above my expectation and in some cases better than wicked wind.

I talked to my wicked wind sensei/taicho, i think he will try it as well later. ( he has CC at 58.5% and iAS at 3.01).

Yes, the costless AP its too good to be true. You only used it for EB which only cost.....20 AP out of 100++ AP. Then most if not all have APoC. So, its infinity aite.

If my mediocre character can do it, sky is the limit for those who has better stats and gears for CM wizard.

If one defense is high, try use Arcane dynamo. Your Explosion Blast (Chain reaction) adds another 75%

I dont have to tell you how fast the Arcane Dynamo keeps refreshing. For me...its every second the moment i hit mobs.

Another good passive skill is lightning stun. Works well for me.

No worries, i tried and tested using Doodle Route. Works like a charm especially when im a slow time user.

One of the changes i think its worth the change is to change the frost nova to the rune skills which 15% extra CC if 5 or more monster frosted.

Since doodle's route doesnt deal with mini bosses, that rune skill is worth to take note. I'm going to use it later and i have a good feeling i wont regret it.

yeah saw your build. Lol, dont bother using Armor at all. Kudos to you. Perhaps life steal blade is good for you or Venom blade where it does help cumulating crit as well.

Maybe i should use your style while instead of using magic blade, i use Slow Time. Aisehman

Eh? Normally when dealing with elite mobs with electrify attribute, i'm able to survive much well with Slow Time as i'm able to lock them while those bolts are slowed to the max which in turn hurts me less.

I always use Slow time against Elite Mobs. Slowed them and also their AS slowed to the point that i always have the upperhand to hit them first and the rest is history.

Except Arcane and mortar

Slow fireball and spears boleh...but mortar which is also in projectile form, cannot slow. Blizzard sometimes really sojai.

You know the Act 3 porcupine? Slow time cannot slow its projectile.

Archon is definitely one my faveret build of all time but deep in my heart, i still prefer Snowy Wizard because i like to see the monster's tears shedding because they were unable to move&attack while i mock them by saying 'say whatttt?!!! i can't hear you!!'

CM wizard shouldn't be afraid of reflect due to the ability to spam diamond skin.

CM wizard should afraid mortar and molten. That one is more damaging.
