I'm still gambling for a +2 MM mirrorball and a cindercoat. My current mirrorball only has +1 MM. Been a week and still no luck because all I'm getting are leg mat drops and plans.....

Yeah, Tasker and Witching Hour is mainly targeted.

It's kinda sad that the only replacement for a legacy Witching Hour is a better Witching Hour. I'm still waiting for an upgrade though it's not high in my priority list.

I'd equipped my wizard with Captain Crimson's Trimmings (Silk Girdle and Waders) before a decent Irontoe Mudsputters was found that has been enchanted with "Increases Arcane Torrent damage by 15%". So, I've decided to put a legacy The Witching Hour on active duty.

Nice damage and good looking wand. Now there's only lubang u need.

Already opened a lubang and fu.....I mean put a gem in it.

Im lucky to be blessed by the God of RNG to be able to play 15-20s cd vyr set archon and WoW arcane build. Just have some comments on these 2 builds :

1. Vyr archon with 15-20s cdr outshines the WoW build in terms of dps against >10mobs.

- My initial archon destruction deals 90m + lucky crit and 20m+ archon punch 0 stacks. It could easily go up to 30-60m per punch when i have 10-60 stacks. My unleash explosion hardly reach 30m, unless i slot in damage passives(not for high torments).
Some simple maths :
archons with 1.5 aps in 3s = 4.5 punches(790 x 4.5 = 3555% not considering the improved archon rune). At 50% cdr WoW unleash rune = 4 explosions ( 970 x 4 = 3880 ). Not sure if the WoW calculations are corect but it should be somewhere that number. That shows WoW build hits harder than archon only if you are fighting against few mobs. Above 10+ mobs, archon wins. What happens when you are out of archon? Positioning. Kite as much mobs to feed archon when its up. Or in party, u can actually deal some considerable dmg with torrent.

2. Vyr archon outshines WoW build in terms of survivability.

-Vyr archons also have the omnipresent bubble which debuffs all foes -60% mov spd & atk spd, -90% projectile spd). The teleport skill cd at roughly 2s which means u can literally tp anytime in/out of battle. You can make use of temporal flux passive to -80% mov spd the foes. You aslso get +20% armor/Ar/damage in archon mode. The WoW melee build must facetank chains/electrified which is the most dangerous affix for a melee build. If you are playing fire blades WoW build you risk even much deaths since arcane WoW uses barrier blades.

3. Party teamwork coorperations.

- WoW is more favourable. When i played archon, not much of team presence other than dps surport and bubble debuff. WoW build? Just wow, everyone says cm wiz is back alive. At 50% cdr, your cold snap cdr is 3.75s and u freeze for 3s + blackhole cdr 6s holds mobs for 2s. Thats 5s of disabling of elites before their immunity kicks in. You dont hit harder than archon + you die if you are an amateur in positioning but its a reminiscence of the late cm wiz.

I have yet to test the conflag + WoW + MMball build which has higher dps output than arcane WoW. That build is able to go range and has much more flexibility. But for now, archon > arcane wow unless you love the feeling of cm wiz. Can any conflag + WoW + MM share something about your build?

arcane torrent lol. its the only atk skill i use.

others are archon and slow time.

wow build is fun but i dont think it is the highest dps and easy to die when facing fire chain elite .. so feel weak when in T5 or T6
i think vyr archon is better in late T5,T6 due to the natural +20% armor/Ar/damage

Thanks mate, we can try dual freezing n black holing soon. Yeah t5-t6 archon is easier to play than WoW and that is without the vyr set bug fixed yet. They should prolly buff wiz to stand stronger in melee. Every time i jump into chains i die. If i eb on electrified w/o event horizon i die. Unless i pay full concentration on my positioning, this build is too paper.

The way i see it, you can go any signature spell + arcane torrent build with arcane dynamo as passive. You should be able to faceroll t1-t3

After indepth consideration, I've decided to work on both pdps (sheet or paper) and mdps (multiplier from elemental skill dmg and specific skill dmg such as arcane torrent) by making use the full set of Vyr's Amazing Arcane and 3pc Aughild's Authority (shoulder, head & wrist).

Therefore, I can enlist SoJ (elite) and the Hellfire (experience) rings for active duty hence RoRG can go straight into the stash.

im using arcana orb + mirrowball.. now can crit highest i think 5m..

im still finding good amulet + armor for faceroll T3...
