How strong is the plastic against crack? I know that it's not good against sctratch but I can get things like pebble wrap.

I don't have any experience with Pebble time. I'm using PT steel version.

It should be tough enough. Just take care of scratches and I think you will be fine.

Ordered Black PT today. Tried paying using paypal but my HLB debit card has been rejected. Don't know why coz i've already activate Online Purchasing. Maybe due to pre-approve payment option by pebble. Ended using my brother's CC.

By the way.. where can i get screen protector and wraps locally?
*
Debit card usually have limit amount for online transaction. Anythings more than rm500 transaction usually declined by bank.

Hmm why are you worry about crack? Watch is on your wrist. Material is hard enough to withstand soft knocking.

The area I'm worrying about is the plastic where it meet the spring bars. I'm not worried at knock impact much. But If somehow the watch or straps get pulled, will it breake the plastic area there.

My pebble OG has been with me for a few years already. I changed straps from time to time. The plastic has held on well. So I guess you should have no problem with the pebble time.

If pebble OG hold that well I can expect Pebble time to hold better. Thanks!

Don't you guys think that Pebble watch is like handicap in iOS? Limited feature only. This is the reason that I hold back for this.

Yes, the Pebble watch is handicapped on IOS compared to its ANDROID counterpart. But then again, it depends on what you want the watch for.
For me, even though I am currently using ANDROID, but I dont use any of the other functions of the Pebble, only use it to get notifications. Plus its fantastic battery life that no other smartwatches in the market can even come close.

Totally agreed. I was initially disappointed as I am on IOS but now I have come to love the fact that I don't have to pull out my phone every time especially if I have it in my pants pocket.

If u r using pebble for view notification only..then u r under utilized your pebble watch seriously. I have been using pebble steel since their 1st launch and until today Im still very happy with it and no plan to upgrade it. No regret getting it, and probably the best gadget i ever had.

To open up the pebble full potential, use it with android + tasker + autopebble and you will see how usefull your pebble watch can be. For instance, I can do home automation from pebble, to turn on tv, light, open autogate automatically once i near home, 1 click from pebble and my phone will turn on waze direct me back home etc, i can track my sport + heart rate from the watch and many more.

Try to discover and do some research on google, and u will find that even the oldest pebble can be the best smartwatch in the market.
