-camera (image/video quality performs not as good as expected during low light/indoor. some say it is a fixable issue but since it is a 'hardware limitation', we can only hope for miracles)

after i sold my 808 then i bought my friend white lumia 920.later my friend bought 1020 white color the same color like the L920 he sold to me.made few comparison.firstly the screen,L920 brightness,saturation and contrast is better then 1020 for my liking.the clearback amoled on 1020 doesnt work for me.then the speed is pretty much the same on 920 and 1020 since both are dual core.but still 1520 will feel lil bit faster coz the snapdragon 800 in it.and we did camera test on the 1020,seriously i really like the picture on my 808 more than the 1020.I saw few of 1520 photos on the internet,it seems to be pretty good despite the lesser pixel on the cam compared to 1020.if me i would go for 1520..but it's ur choice.

hmmm. i didnt like the screen on 920 in anyway at all. the yellow tint drives me nuts all day>< comparing it to 1020 i like it more.

yes i prefer de natural color 808 offers over 1020/1520 anytime. hope that they can solve the algorithm in the coming updates.

ya sometime the yellow tint is quite disturbing.but the 1020 amoled is not really bright since im used to ips screen(iphone,920).plus the saturation of the white color is not that good.and 1020 is damn thick but lighter than the 920.but seriously the camera bump at the back is really uncomfortable.. However there is still something special abt the 1020 though.

it definitely has its place in serving the niche market. like my dad haha.

I'm not sure, 1520 seems better except the camera, 1520 have high megapixel too, more than enough for general use. 1020 is way overpriced, too low on storage, no sd card option, not enough battery power. I'm waiting for the price to drop; at such price, it's just too unreasonable/unjustified, but seems Nokia/Microsoft wants to keep this device exclusive, which is unlike Nokia, so more likely Microsoft?

Then again, if you can wait... there're rumors on the 1020 successor... This should be much better I hope, with more battery, bigger storage and possible external storage (sd card), etc.

i dont know.i just dont want to offend any 1020 user who reading this lol.for sure there will be a successor soon.it is just the matter of time.1520 is gonna be my choice if i want to get my next lumia.but since i dont really like wp8..hmm.just get z ultra or something.Im guessing one day, there will be like MICROSOFT LUMIA SURFACE etc.but seriously damian dinning absence really affect nokia cameraphone/smartphone picture quality.im just saying

For those that don't have 808 and they're WP users, getting 1020 would be the better option.
But the specs and pricing, and the latest 1520, well... it's just doesn't justify or sound reasonable as the price for L1020 still sky high.

Well, anyway, there's nothing wrong to get it. As long the person appreciates it and willing to pay for it. Just enjoy it and don't look back.

You can google 1020 Successor, you can see several rumors. It's still just rumors, but for those not in rush or already have 808, can just wait for it; there "should" be one this year.

hmm. checked it, not much info about a next 41mp lumia.. but just gonna wait for further news. looking forward for it.

This can only be done if you have installed Belle Extra Buttons, and not by stock software, Hope it helps

by the way 2G/3G toggle has been removed by the author as it render useless (you will see the logo 2G/3G remain, but it doesn't connects you to 3G, you need to manually change it via settings)
