QUOTE(lowyard @ Nov 5 2014, 06:53 PM) Since I always send the car for service on time, do I have to know about this? Coz my fc also not so awesome. Myvi lg best 2012 1.5 se. What's your current mileage ? If it's more than 20,000kms, then suggest to get your TB cleaned / serviced. 10~11km/l City driving 100%. What's the viscosity of the engine oil ? Adjust your right foot and be as light as possible. Don't tailgate during jam. Any mods on your car so far ? Have you checked your tyre pressure ? There are some ppl whom over inflate their tyres to obtain lower rolling resistance rate. |

QUOTE(jackal400 @ Nov 5 2014, 06:45 PM) Get your TB service / cleaned. Oic....will check with the staff in peroduo service..btw wat is tb.. i always check 2 week a time for tyre pressure...One more thing, is your air filter clean / clogged up with dirts ? If latter, then change it (if you are using stock air filter). Else if you are using aftermarket air filters, then get it washed with dedicated cleaners. |

QUOTE(theanswer @ Oct 24 2012, 04:30 PM) yep..it's true. especially for the auto one.actually not all people know who to drive auto properly. plus they have to realized that auto is not efficient as the manual. so it depend on the driver too. Very true....tyre pressure normally 220/kpa for myvi...but it works in a new tyre when the tyre doesn't have grip you have to fill up 240/kpa it will be help to save the fuel..every 6 month swap the tyres (front to back)....and try to drive 80/100 speed in highways...and change the engine oil every 5000KM or 10000KM....dont switch on the AC when you start the car.it will reduce the engine efficiency...once you reach the level 40km/hr after you blow the AC...finally clean your fuel filter every 5000 KM....i use to drive Myvi SE 1.5 in malaysia...because my wife is a Malaysian...*engine condition, tyre pressure also haveto be taken into consideration. Added on October 24, 2012, 4:31 pm auto+town driving=no need to complaint. i owned jaguar XJ(12/L), Hyundai verna(15/L) and suzuki swift diesel(18/L) in India i don't have pic to share here later i will share.. Hi guys, may I know if you guys have any other tricks to further improve FC on LB Myvi 1.3 Auto?
Currently, based on my calculation of last trip, I’ve been getting 14.1km/l for mixed city and highway driving. 40/60 split here. Things I’ve Done 1) Routine Maintenance based on the recommended schedule interval (Except for Fuel Filter) 2) Pump tires to correct tire pressure 3) Turn off aircond 4) Being extra light footed and coast as much I can Thanks everyone! |

This probably is what most myvi driver will get.i owned jaguar XJ(12/L), Hyundai verna(15/L) and suzuki swift diesel(18/L) in India i don't have pic to share here later i will share.. My previous car:
Perodua Myvi 2011 Lagi Best 1.3 Ezi Auto Petrol Used : Petronas Ron95 Engine Oil Used : Perodua genuine oil Semi Synthetic 5W-30 Mileage : ~107,000km Modification : K&N Drop-in air filter & full set hotbits catback exhaust system Tire size : 175/65/14 Scenario 1 (Daily driving) Fuel Consumption : 12.0 - 13.0 km/l Driving Condition : 10% highway 90% city Scenario 2 (Interstate driving on PLUS highway) Fuel Consumption : 16 - 17km/l Driving Condition : 90% highway 10% city I noticed the trip computer on myvi lagi best is more optimistic and reads a better mileage compared to actual petrol used. Usually it reads 12.6km/l but actual is about 12km/l. |
