yep..it's true. especially for the auto one.actually not all people know who to drive auto properly. plus they have to realized that auto is not efficient as the manual. so it depend on the driver too.
*engine condition, tyre pressure also haveto be taken into consideration.

auto+town driving=no need to complaint.
Very true....tyre pressure normally 220/kpa for myvi...but it works in a new tyre when the tyre doesn't have grip you have to fill up 240/kpa it will be help to save the fuel..every 6 month swap the tyres (front to back)....and try to drive 80/100 speed in highways...and change the engine oil every 5000KM or 10000KM....dont switch on the AC when you start the car.it will reduce the engine efficiency...once you reach the level 40km/hr after you blow the AC...finally clean your fuel filter every 5000 KM....i use to drive Myvi SE 1.5 in malaysia...because my wife is a Malaysian...
i owned jaguar XJ(12/L), Hyundai verna(15/L) and suzuki swift diesel(18/L) in India
..one Toyota Camry in Dubai....by the way i m getting 16/L avg in highway 14/avg in city for my car...
