I use my galaxy note 90% for reading and surfing, is there a need to upgrade to note 2? and why?

It really depends on what you need and if you have the extra $. Having note 2 is a total different experience compared to note 1 I would say. However, since you are using mainly for reading and surfing, you could still use the original note and no problem with it.
