Do they repair car starter as well or just alternator?

Last I read, they do repair starter also.

To they do. Depending on your car, like mine, I did the starter and alternator at once since accessibility is time consuming.

The repair cost combined is less than changing new alternator only. Smart move!

How much is the charge to repair starter? Did only alternator last time was about rm200

Can't recalled maybe around $350 then for both alternator and starter. Mileage was 250k km apprx then now reaching 350k km. That's few ago years ago

Now if I'm not mistaken rm300 for each. But that price for Mazda Skyactiv cars.

Repaired my starter yesterday, while starting issue now maybe gone, but now my car cranking sounds differently that it did all these while. Not sure how am i gonna get used to it.

Also my car immediately prompt an error message Power Steering Faulty and while driving i would randomly lose power steering. Tho i am not sure how changing the starter would cause this issue. Abit of regret really. Gonna spend more to go check on this power steering issue now

Towed a fren's car from Bandar Tasik Puteri Rawang last monday 8th may 2023.

car couldnt even cranked to start..so suspected starter..

fren was sceptical at 1st..then after the uncles restored his car's starter & saw the bill of RM170..he now believes..

we arrived around 4pm so wasnt enough time to do the alternator..

Would like to recommend Mr. Ong @ +60123899623 who is based in Old Town, Petaling Jaya. He has serviced two of my cars already, with very friendly, detailed, and prompt service.

He even came over to my place to dismantle and reinstall the starter. I did not have to drive / tow to his workshop.
