...whether a laptop lasts long or not depends very much on a little bit of luck (same goes to all electronic devices), and mostly on how well you take care of your laptop nod.gif
Unless if its a business notebook, its very hard to tell which one will last longer, in which's case the warranty support would be a more important point for consideration icon_rolleyes.gif

Nah, it may be running on W7P but it does not feature most of the "specs" that other business notebooks offer hmm.gif
Its more like a "hybrid" machine, leaning more towards a consumer laptop

I guess matte surface and screen would be more important than having an aluminium casing for a business-based notebook? tongue.gif
Some other guy just updated me that it is RM2399 laugh.gif
Just changed from 2299 to 2399 hmm.gif

I guess which one to choose depends on your definition of "light gaming". Your "light" might not be my interpretation of "light" laugh.gif

Personally I would prefer the XPS13 more because of the much better and comfortable keyboard, carbon-fibre built and also non-glossiness design (apart from the screen, of course tongue.gif) which are good features to have on a ultrabook used for business (and at the same time not too ugly) haha laugh.gif
But it runs on an Intel HD3000 iGPU, so don't expect too much gaming from the XPS 13...
You can consider the relatively cheaper HP Folio 13 as well, its sort of similar to the XPS13:
13"
Hp [Ultrabook] Pavilion dm3-1001TU (Folio 13), i5-2467M + Intel HD3000 + 128GB SSD@RM2999[1.49kg], W7HP

The ZenBook UX32vd would be better if you're looking into playing some relatively more "hardcore" games laugh.gif But that's about it... the touchpad is not as good as that of the XPS13 and personally I feel that it'll be a bit too flashy for a business notebook

Other ultrabooks capable of relatively better gaming performance:
14"
Acer [Ultrabook] M5-481TG-53316G12, i5-3317U + Nvidia GT640M LE (28nm Kepler) + 128GB SSD@RM2899[1.85kg], 6GB, W7HP
Asus [Ultrabook]S46CM-WX023V, i5-3317U + Nvidia GT635M + 24GB mSATA + 500GB HDD@RM2399[2kg], 4GB, W7HP
Dell [Ultrabook]Inspiron 14z, i5-3317U + AMD HD7570M + 32GB SSD + 500GB(5400rpm)@RM2599[1.87kg], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm) *no VGA port, OD
HP [Ultrabook] Envy4-1043TX/1053TX, i5-3317U + AMD HD7670M + [32GB mSATA + 500GB(5400rpm)]@RM2599[Beats][1.75kg], 4GB, W7HP
Samsung [Ultrabook] NP530U4C, i5-3317U + Nvidia GT620M + 24GB mSATA + 1TB HDD@RM2999[1.81kg], 6GB, ODD, W7HP
Toshiba [Ultrabook] Satellite U840-1008X, i5-3317U + AMD HD7550M + 32GB mSATA + 500GB HDD@RM2999[1.7kg], 4GB, backlit keyboard, color: silver, free RM200 petrol voucher

SIFU, A BIG THANKS TO YOU. You are quite aggressive at here. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif
Well, I'm personally quite like the design of HP Envy Spectre XD instead of Dell XPS 13 because looks more elegant and classy. Unfortunately, Dell XPS 13 it's kinda HOT as seen all good review from forum. Meanwhile, Zenbook is quite expensive btw.

SIFU, how you comment about HP Envy Spectre? hmm.gif

Yeah the i3-2365M would be able to handle those just fine nod.gif
Some other alternatives:
14"
Dell
[Ultrabook]Inspiron 14z, i3-3217U + Intel HD4000@RM1599[1.87kg], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), Ubuntu Linux 11.10, *no VGA port, OD
[Ultrabook]Inspiron 14z, i3-3217U + Intel HD4000@RM1799[1.87kg], 4GB, 500GB(5400rpm), W7HB, *no VGA port, OD

These are running on IB ULV-processors, which are faster than the SB ones nod.gif

I would avoid recommending netbooks as those are really a bit too small for most people.
Can consider these:
Closest-
13"
Lenovo [Ultrabook]S300, Pentium 997 + Intel HD3000 @RM1199[1.8kg], 2GB,500GB(5400rpm), freeDOS; W7HB@RM1399, no ODD, 1 yr warranty

No problem man laugh.gif
well, the thing about ultrabooks is that almost all of them will run hot because of the slim design which reduces effective airflow... its unavoidable, hence manufacturers charge an unavoidable higher warranty price for ultrabooks.

As for the Envy, it will run hot as well, and its a fingerprint magnet despite its awesome looks LOL... My past experience with glossy laptops (Qosmio F60 and Satellite M500) has really turned me off against glossiness XD

here's a review on the unit (spec may differ): http://www.laptopmag.com/review/laptops/hp...14-spectre.aspx
