Quad core i7 generates a lot more heat than i5 and core 2 duo
It all depends on whether you need the i7 or not (based on your requirements, you don't need it). If you insist on getting one, then getting a 15 incher would be better, especially so if you don't mind getting a 14 or 15" notebook
