3000mah battery won't spoil the phone?  hmm.gif
*
rclxub.gif Shouldn't be I guess. Battery capacity is to sustain the device as long as it can. Unless the battery output is different I doubt it'll bring any harm to the device.

(Correct me if I'm wrong)

QUOTE(miloy2k @ Oct 9 2012, 07:55 AM)
so how long does the extended battery can last? much3 better then the ori or not?
*
Hmm... It's the same as how much you last with 80% of battery. It's not very good compared to the ori. But of course, It's just happens to be that one that I've encountered. The other extra battery pack might be ok smile.gif

the thing is to review a battery u gotta test it till it goes all the way to dead (or almost dead). because of the bigger capacity often the reading of these external batteries tend to be wrong. for example they can drain very fast from 100-80 and then take forever from 80 to go down. thats for example. so the best way to test battery life (for non ori) is to drain it as low as possible rather than a few percent and extrapolating it

there is 2 dropbox app in your phone. you need root to remove the other one. the other one is actually a license kinda thing for users to claim the 48gb benefit

Use Tb and freeze or uninstall both at same time. See if that fix the issue.

Added on October 9, 2012, 2:35 pmAlso guys, I need your help so give me your sincere opinion.

Lately I kena poison from note and friends who already have the note 2. Damn man..I really feel like selling off my s3 to get a note but again, so damn can't decide.

If I sell s3 to either family or friends, sure expect to lose but can get new phone.
If keep s3, can't get new phone...

-.-" Poison kau kau ni...what do you think? Sorry just throwing out my rant!

like i said before, i wanted to get note 2 but didnt. thats because i have a note 10.1

if u want to take notes using the wacom stylus on your phone, note 2 is better. i enjoy being able to actually use my phone with one hand now, last time my note cannot confirm need two hands. so its not a phone. is a phablet.

battery will not be 1000mah better (note 2 3100mah, s3 2100 mah) because WACOM tech is battery hungry, i speak from experience. Note 2 battery will probably be better, but not 50% better

surfing was a joy the note yes, cuz of the large screen. again, need two hands. so i say to you, do u want a PHONE or a PHABLET. the note 2's main kicker is the wacom stylus and if u dun fancy yourself using it, it will probably be better to get the s4 (or if phone tech doesnt make a huge leap as i guess it wont) the s5.

im waiting for ceramic body, better camera and nano tech battery (prototypes already made, i posted thread before cant remember where) which will give us INSANE battery life talking about a week or more.

Last week we reported about the upcoming Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S III in Korea.
Today it is October 9 and Samsung just started to update the Korean Galaxy S III devices to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.
You can update your Korean Galaxy S III device by using Samsung KIES or OTA.
The following Galaxy S III devices are able to update: SHV-E210S, SHV-E210K and SHV-210L.
Since this is the first Korean update the global release of Android 4.1.1 for the Galaxy S III must be really close now.
Samsung tested the first Jelly Bean update in Poland. But decided to push back the Jelly Bean update and to fix some major problems. icon_rolleyes.gif

ive purchased it. results pending. my "theory" is that by removing the NFC compared to s3's stock battery, u MAY be able to increase space for the battery. but google gives me no results of how big NFC antennas/chips/ whatever is in stock battery could be, so i have no idea if its 900mah difference capable. also keep in mind it may not just be better storage but they may reduce the voltage to give the impression it is 3000 mah by making it last longer.

i have not done any definitive 1 for 1 testing yet, as im right now "conditioning" the sunglobal battery by using it constantly. i will test it by the weekend.
*
NFC chip was built into the phone, the battery only doubles as the antenna. The antenna is just a thin film layer as shown below:

For more pics, you can refer here. smile.gif

I bought Sun Global 3000mAh battery, I don't know how they pack in more capacity, maybe discarded NFC antenna and built a thinner wall for battery casing?

I find my Sun Global battery although claim to be higher capacity, but it drain faster than the stock battery. I also thought of "running in" the battery might improve it, but learned from BatteryUniversity.com and other sites said in theory, Lithium based battery do not need running in, and it should perform as it should when new.

Anyway, it is no harm you give it more time and observe the performance. nod.gif
