i ordered 2 sets of replacement parts currently otw to reach me. my first v911 is still holding up quite well. broke 2 pairs of blade n now got no replacement blades to continue flight. the v911-pro definitely flies better out of the box, i know most of the parts are identical with the old version but it just feels more stable!
now waiting for the replacement parts to arrive so that i can fly it ROUGH!

do you have extra flybars? i ordered the set with 5 blades, 5 flybars and 5 linkages but they had not been posted to me yet, and both me and my friend had broken the flybar sad.gif

and with the correct maneuvres, you can make the v911 go pretty damn fast. push full forward cycling, then slowly push it to either left or right direction(accompanied by the appropriate tail direction) and you can make the v911 go pretty damn fast, full throttle going straight laugh.gif

i crashed my v911 many times, making the thing go vertical and sometimes more than vertical with a few combinations of banked turns sweat.gif

For me, I would recommend a glider pusher plane. So that even if you crash you won't damage the propeller.

Learn how to repair foam planes and they will last a hundred crashes. A lot of video on youtube teaches...

My recommendation, AXN floater

Still flying it... A lot of hidden carbon rods reinforcement

Amcorp mall "RC Smart", go google them...

http://www.rcsmart.com.my/

Try a simulator, available on Android phone. "RC Simulator"

I advice you to play on mode 1 for the controller

I'm flying in Klang, can't help you there unless you willing to come here...

Can sell you my beginner Flysky 4 channel radio for cheap also if you want... biggrin.gif

Thanks. I went to Amcorp mall and had a look the other day. A lot of options to choose from.

I would love to learn but I don't want to intrude. Is there any flying groups/clubs around which I could go look?

i think almost nobosy carries the dx6i anymore ...
there are many other much more superior systems now
if u are starting from scratch i highly recommend the frsky taranis at rm700+ at local shops

Frsky is the way to go...

Got range...
Got stability...
Cheap for such a good system...

I'm using FSTH9X + Frsky module + Open 9X, best system ever...
But with a few hundred bucks you can get a Taranis...

For the price, I feel its more of a intermediate to advance system.
If your not flying around urban areas, got place to fly like open fields, with the nearest house 2 to 3km away, then even Flysky system will be enough for beginner.

But if flying in a field surrounded by houses or building, Frsky is the way to go... More option to expand also if you want telemetry in the future.
