The FQ777-124 is not noob friendly Hopefully Hubsan is more noob friendly... LOL!
I will be ordering the MJX X600 from banggood (US$59.69) as cheaper than gearbest (US$67.24 after mjxx600 code) with shipping...
I just click the cart this morning for another MJX X600 it only cost USD$48 only since Gearbest.com have special offer. Here is the coupon code for this quadcopter: MJXX600. Check this links: http://goo.gl/SaSnu8 for cheaper price.

I just got a QR350pro lately. For the first time flying a drone.
It came with iLOOK+ and it seems it need a micro sd to do the recording. I would like to ask is 16GB is sufficient for the video recording? How long duration can 16GB record for HD video?
Hey there, sorry for the late reply was busy flying all day. Oh yes about the GB consumption on mostly for sport camera size like iLOOK usually approx around 2GB for 10 minutes recording.

Is there a good newbie small quad within the range of <RM300? Preferably with spare parts readily available in case I break something? Camera is optional for me.
Yup there lots of good small quad under RM300 that offer great flying performance and stuff plus many replacement parts on local market. I made lots of test, reviews and modification on these cheapo models at my website. You can read some of my recommendation.
I just recently review two models while some old good ones you can scroll from my past reviews:

Cheap FPV display solution to enjoy FPV!
I just write up an article how you can save money using your smartphone to enjoy FPV/drone flight or ground FPV than spending thousand of FPV display DVR equipment with just less than few ringgit. I just made tutorial here how you can use your Android smart phone to do FPV thing. Enjoy

I see they sell the balancer on Banggood, might consider getting one then. Woah bro, awesome scale model you have there! Looks like your ADI isn't exactly tallying up with the actual attitude of the aircraft
Looking at your post history and website, damn man you have such extensive history with flying! Sifu!
Want to ask though, usually when you fly FPV, like on your Mustang, what equipment do you use and how far do you fly? vtx, goggles, transmitter etc. Looks like your camera follows your head movement so I'm guessing you're using goggles?
Also where do you fly bro? Would be very interested to meetup with you
I use FPV video goggle with head tracker capability, Ground station unit and high dbi directional patch antenna. Fly between point A-B distance is between 5~7km on normal days with mileage ~25km per-round. On cloudy windy days it can for further and longer thanks to wind lift. I live in borneo, move about from coastal to coastal to find perfect spot to fly and also check if the zone/area above me is safe to fly.

Damn man, sounds like some really nice kit indeed. Define ground station though? Kinda confused with that terminology. Not too familiar with FPV terms as of yet. You fly in the more remote areas bro? 5-7km is AWESOME range man! What transmitter, vtx and etc do you use? I know you listed in your video but couldn't play it back again as I'm staying outstation now and currently low on quota You must be Azy Unixxxxx on FB. Same FB group bro
Seriously cool! You have GPS telemetry data on your OSD though or you fly purely by sight?
A ground station a secondary FPV monitor, a DVR and sometimes a telemetry module attached on tripod to record the plane movement, telemetric information, tracking and also most importantly as plane 'BLACK BOX' should anything happen to the plane. I only use standard 5.8ghz vtx, video goggle with head tracking system, standard FCC compliant radio control transmitter. What make it a successful long range flight was a home made modified video/radio antenna transmission which i built my self thanks to the internet.
Yes it has GPS telemetry data on my OSD, fly beyond light of sight from cockpit view. As you can see inside this video below somewhere in the middle of the video clip there's an inset of HUD(OSD = pilot view) layout that shows instrumental flight data, altitude, orientation and other stuff which allow me to fly without looking outside scenery if i do stuck inside the clouds or flying in the dark just like real pilot.

Sounds cool! So you actually record the actual video being transmitted by the VTX on your setup on top of the seperate video recorder you placed inside the plane eh. What is required to consider it as a 'ground station'? Is your antenna actually still on the default positions or is it an external antenna module of some sorts? I see you're somewhat avoiding the question of what TX you're using, but looking at your site I'm guessing some Turnigy model? Honestly I have no experience on quads so can't really recommend but I see CC3S and QQ being pretty popular. Looks nice! So, now what to do to make use of the CC2500 module?
