Hi Guys.
I recently notice a swelling on my DJI Phantom 2 batteries.
My Phantom 2 is the older version (the one where the camera tilt is at the back of the remote control)

1. Is it safe to use
2. Will the capacity be lower ?
3. Is this due to storing at full charge ?
4. Is this covered by warranty (RMA) ?

Thanks !
*
Answer:
1. If slightly swelling can use, but swell like a balloon = nope cannot use.
2. Slightly reduce but lack of "punch" power.
3. Yes, if full charged lipo battery not in use within 3 days you must discharge a full charged battery to storage level. If battery full charged is 12.6v then storage charge should be 11.1v
4. Nope, doesn't covered by warranty if pass 30 days.

hi guys, been reading a lot on fpv drones. i am interested in buying drones but the problem is i live in penang so i cant seem to find any reliable shops here. got a budget of about RM 2500, anybody knows good shops in penang?
*
You can buy online from much cheaper for the money, shipping on EMS takes around 5~7 days excluding hold up days at Custom. I usually buy at Banggood.com or Gearbest.com due to fast shipping and response. Hobbyking.com is good but ultra slow and lousy after sale services. Just google around for this vendor.

-----------------------

Oh btw i bought more Hubsan Q4 for my family member and got this discount code: HBQ4M
Applicable for this one: http://www.gearbest.com/rc-quadcopters/pp_142606.html

Thanks for the advice. Had been looking at the syma x5c since most recommend it and it even look kinda like the phantom... Didn't realize the size difference though.. Will look into this v262

Syma X5c is good have many compatible parts support in the market. You can slowly turn into FPV mods via DIY.

Will post youtube video and my review at my website soon hopefully this week.
Got it from GearBest.com: http://www.gearbest.com/rc-quadcopters/pp_193049.html
