Agreed, actually nothing much u can spend with RM50k. My sis bought a condo at Amaya, din't do any renovation, jz spent on those electrical appliances n furnitures ady cost almost RM100k. Bear in mind for big size condo, those electrical items n sofa set u buy cannot be too small, otherwise it wont look nice.

Well of coz the more money you can spend on the new house the better...however...we still have to look into how deep and thick our pocket is sweat.gif

I am running out of cash icon_question.gif and was thinking to replace older stuff PROGRESSIVELY~~

The most expensive item in terms of "renovation" would be the woodworks. The more built-in cabinets you have, thats where your bulk of the cost is going to be. I remember seeing a very long cabinet top & bottom just next to the door entrance. That would costs a bomb if using good material. And a double sided wardrobe at the master bedroom .. another bomb.

Then of course, if everything also new furniture for all rooms, then for sure RM100k is the least you will need.

but i do agree with previous post,

single most expensive "renovation" will definitely be cabinets, and/or wardrobe!

realise prices start as low as 3/4k for kitchen cabinets, to an average of 15/20k to unlimited budget that comes with gold plate encrusted with diamond cabinet .

all that matters is not so much the design, but the material.

i love granite, anyone have any experience of the price ranges and type available?

can share?

thanks
