Does anyone know when is the next SPA interview? I am a pharmacy graduates and now looking for job to start my PRP. Government side hasnt gotten any news on interview date =( Private side, all the factory and company not taking any or they just take in intern and choose PRP from intern based on performance. Kinda depressing. =/

if not performance then based on what? laugh.gif

What about community pharmacies? Many are offering PRP positions now

in the past, when such healthcare professionals are short, jobs were guaranteed, no matter how incompetent you are....

that era is gone, and you will need to compete for jobs now...yes, based on performance...

perhaps that is needed...as current training of such professionals are in such bad shape, you are getting pretty mediocre students getting in, and graduating....

Quality wise you can refer to their entry requirements. Generally a stricter entry requirement would indirectly mean that the course is tougher and of a higher quality. Fees information can be found here: https://studymalaysia.com/what/?keyword=pharmacy

hmm ok but i'm now unsure about going for a levels or foundation. i've heard some bad news about AIMST but Taylor's fees are a bit pricey compared to the other two.

If you are unsure about which university then taking A-levels would be a safer choice and can prepare you better for the degree. Unless you are set for AIMSt then taking their foundation can guarantee you a seat.

Hi, is there any registered pharmacist who is working in local/mnc under sales and marketing? What benefit do you have being a registered pharmacist vs unregistered r pharmacist in the sales force? Is it necessary to be registered if I intend to be in the sales force and climb the corporate ladder?

Yes there are many. Unregistered pharmacist just means that you are not a pharmacist and not qualified to be called as such. If you are registered you would have 1 year of rigorous training, regardless of which field. And you can also apply for a licence in the future should the need arise. Not it is not necessary to be registered if you want to climb the corporate ladder

I would like to hear from a registered pharmacist working under sales and marketing in pharmaceutical industry. Is there any differences in terms of career development and salary between registered pharmacist and non registered pharmacist/other graduates. Thanks.

Just wondering if I complete my PRP in retail pharmacy, any possibility that I can continue to serve in government setting again?

Yes. ISN, PPUKM, PPUM usually will put up a notice if there are any vacancies.
