Hi all,
saw Kabar BK7 and it look great. Amazon is selling it at $80 but is not shipping to Malaysia. OGM is selling it at RM760 and that is almost double the price.
Any one can tell me how can i get a reasonable seller for the blade? or do i need to use a forwarder? will custom stop it?

QUOTE(tescogot @ Oct 29 2017, 08:45 PM) Yes, that is the one. though RM470 is still on the high side, was looking forward toward RM400. If I can't find any lower price, is it safe to buy from that link? This post has been edited by Pebbie: Oct 30 2017, 09:18 AM

RM50+ if use coupons at Thomastools. I use it quite often. Got ceramic stone and diamond tapered rod can easily sharpen recurve/serated blade on the go.

Any of y'all order knives from overseas? I'm interested in ordering Tops BOB Fieldcraft knives, but I don't know if customs is going to confiscate those. Tried checking prohibited goods list and only saw daggers and butterfly knives on there, so survival/bushcraft knives shouldn't be an issue but I just wanted to be sure.
Many online shops don't deliver to Malaysia which leads me to think people haven't been too lucky with our customs.

The thread seems to be quite dull and bleeding very slowly.... Just to share my experience, you can import fixed blade (not sure up to what blade length). But, be prepared....be very prepared for the accompanied taxes and duties. Some charges are fixed (orders above usd100, and knife import), some charges varies with company (custom clearance help). You may decline post companies for their custom clearance service, and do it yourself at klia if I'm not mistaken for much less. Multitools are allowed and have their own import taxes if I'm not mistaken. Folding knives are grey area. I dare not explain further. Unfortunately, outfitter country changed their policy some time this year. My advise is, do drop by OGM, or SWAT shop in Starparc point, or Thomastools if you want to get any of those. The price is higher, but the hassle is less. Just my humble opinion...keep on bleeding
