as i know there's many brands of 9600XT, each got their different spec...

Mine is HIS.

I've used Sapphire 9600XT before buying a new pci-e system. It's a good card, but not more.

asked around whole melaka and whole LYP.... Saphire 9600XT no more stock.... gosh...

i think u better go for 6800XT .. its better than 9600XT

6800xt is nVidia card.
and XT from nVidia means lower-end. XT from ATi means higher-end.

the comparison here is base on normal stock setting of the card only...

9600XT and 6800XT price difference is less than RM10.
6800XT DDR1 is RM60 cheaper than 7300GT DDR3, as from the bulk order session by Devilc0de

GeCube 9600XT Extreme Gamer Edition 128bit/128mb user here........i'm having some prob with my card since last year lolz....but d card still can work nice( in agp 4x),if i set it to 8x it will lag lag.....etc then need restart......haiz

I would say go for 7300GT, GT higher in Nvidia and it's in ddr3. I had lit regret after i bought 6800XT. After 2 week i bought 6800XT, some bulk just start sell 7300GT

If you compare 6800XT to 9600XT, i would say 6800XT still a winner cos 6800XT support SM3.0 and 256Bit. 9600XT is kinda old card. No offend here. My frie got that card since it first came out and bundled half-life2. It's a great card but lack of those goodies, eg SM3.0/HDR. Most game use SM3.0

i also hav the same thought. if compare between 9600xt and 6800xt, i would take 6800xt. if 6800xt and 7300gt, surely will take 7300gt. newer card support newer directx shader and functions. and higher resell value too.
