AGP Card: Gecube 128MB 9600XT
Hm, I'm still using it though. Hoping to get an PCI card but gotta change the motherboard too. Sigh... Because I can't play some games, got this VPU Recover error. Kinda sux.
Nevertheless, it had and still a good card after 2 years of using it.

QUOTE(Survivor @ Feb 20 2006, 10:15 AM) Good score. If i m not mistaken, my ABIT 9600XT only score 3000+ only... The 2600+ T-bred A was on stock clock of 2127mhz. The 9600XT slightly OC with ATI Tool to core 513 mem 335. Can still go higher.

9600XT stopped production when 9550 came out. It's based on old DDR technology. Some more high timing low clock speed DDR. How to compare with DDR2 9550 that still in production today? Want to compare can compare with 9550 DDR based or underclock the mem of DDR2 to 325. But the DDR on today's 9550 also clock higher and better timing.

Using a Gecube 9600XT Extreme Edition. Probably the worst card I've used. Gave me lots of problems..AGP can only run at 4x. Even though I jacked up the AGP voltage up to run at 8x and with AGP Fast Write enabled, lock-ups still occur in-game even with the current Catalyst version lol.. And yea I got the same problem as weirdguy, VPU error message pops up if I tried to run AGP 8x before Catalyst 6.1 anyway. I am beginning to wonder if this card is actually compatible with my motherboard. I've flashed my mobo bios to a later ver. still doesnt help fix these problems =\ Specs are- Asus A7V8x AthlonXP Palomino 2000+ Graphic card and mobo not compatible ? Omega drivers linkAnd if the default clock is 500Mhz, my 9600Pro raelly slow. The default clock for my 9600Pro is 308/406.

If the card has no problem it maybe not compatible with your mobo la. On my system never give problem. AGP8X, Fast write, Sideband addressing all can on can OC also. Never have to do any voltage tweak.

Well I used to have a PowerColor 9600XT Bravo Edition. I voltmod this card to 624MHz on core (cant remember memory speed though) using stock cooler and achieve stunning score of 4845marks in 3DMark03 with a Pentium 4 2GHz o/c 3.1GHz...such a good old days.....the card blew when I measure the voltage which is a shame because this card is already fast in the first place...after this incident I never hardmod my card again
