I am using the 256MB ABIT 9600XT. I wouldnt change my 9200 if not because it is gone. I am not heavy gamer so i guess 9600XT is enough for me for now

QUOTE(johnnycp @ Feb 16 2006, 06:31 PM) what is the point talking about outdated graphic card? isnt 9600XT become fosil already? Well, no offence, but if you feel there is no point talking about outdated graphic card then why you come in here? This topic is dedicated to the 9600XT users who want to exchange their view on their card. With all respect not all of us can keep up with the latest card, some of us are still using "fosil". So is it wrong that we are discussing our "fosil" here? I think you should learn how to respect others.

QUOTE(seeseng @ Feb 20 2006, 01:15 PM) The 2600+ T-bred A was on stock clock of 2127mhz. The 9600XT slightly OC with ATI Tool to core 513 mem 335. Can still go higher. Hmm...maybe that's the reason. My 9600XT is bench at the default speed, no OC what so ever

QUOTE(Najmods @ Mar 3 2006, 03:32 PM) Well I used to have a PowerColor 9600XT Bravo Edition. I voltmod this card to 624MHz on core (cant remember memory speed though) using stock cooler and achieve stunning score of 4845marks in 3DMark03 with a Pentium 4 2GHz o/c 3.1GHz...such a good old days.....the card blew when I measure the voltage which is a shame because this card is already fast in the first place...after this incident I never hardmod my card again Hmm...i share the same fear. It is as though my last R9200 is blown away bcos i OC. Nvr dare to OC my R9600XT anymore

QUOTE(miraged @ Jun 28 2006, 01:45 AM) yeah.... last time... this card was gold.. no more laa. long ago... Every card also is gold for some time period, but after that, they are just PCB boards which you attached on the computer (sometimes even just to keep in the box!!!). The technology market just has too high turn-over rate!
