S3 is known to be fragile. I knew that even before I bought the phone. The that is why going naked with s3 is suicide. Iphone 5 < built quality is very impressive. Almost like the phone insist it should be naked

I'm still on stock ROM on kernel after 3 mths using s3. Broke my android record. I notice the stock rom got super a lot of bugs when it comes to contacts/phonebook.

hi,may noe is there any player in play store which can play all sorts of movie format such as mkv,avi,rmvb n etc??

Just want to know, what will you guys do when meet this problem ?
Yesterday night, I turn on a game and I just leave it, ( because keep chatting on pc ) then it will auto turn off after the sleep time reach, but after that I can't turn the screen on by pressing any button. Then I decided take out the battery, but before that I keep press the power button and home button ( long press, short press ) then lucky it turn on back.
But when the screen blackout it got warm on it like still turning on and not full off.
Is it any trick or way when meeting this kind blackscreen because of application or any other problem that can force to off the S3 and turn it on back ?

Does anyone ecounter this:

playing games for just >5mins. (hell gate - the zombie shooting one),
the device start feel heat (at the back [battery] and screen area).

note my s3 still haven't upgrade or flash any firmware.

And I played FM2012 handheld version for around 1hour, battery % from 100 ->70%...

Is it normal or?

and how to solve this prob (if possible), is it need to upgrade the stock filmware?

some games draw more processing power than others. esp if the game is not coded well. when processor is in load, of course it will produce heat. so it's normal.

i played a stupid board game can drain more battery than modern combat 3. poorly coded apps.

so, u play 1 hour.. u expect to only drop 1%?? 100% -> 99%??
30% for an hour of FIFA looks very normal to me.

it's not fifa, but football manager, with less graphic. just click click click. Anyway, the 2nd question I think still ok for me, i mean battery consumption matter, but the heat matter... well, mayb as what u say, the apps prob? haha
