i think all the roms battery life almost same la.

everyone usage can vary depending on stanby time.

but the screen on time for most people is around 5-7 hours. (roughly extrapolate from 100%-0%)
depending on usage.

mine too.
my brightness is manual and is about 30-40%
my usage >90% chome browsing & youtube.

app force close happens rarely
but i never encounter complete freeze until i need to force it off.
at least in my 2 months usage.

if there is a time the tablet slows down,
it would be when i'm updating an app from play store.
after finish download, it will have the "installing" at the status bar right?
this is the time when my tablet will hang hang, and so jerky till the extend i thought its going to hang.
but after 2-3seconds it finish install, all is well.
kindda strange since my dual core phone still functions smoothly when installing updates.

just one of the small things i wish will improve for nexus7.

i update my paradnoid android from 2.15 to 2.16 this morning.
through out the day, i find it lags quite frequently.

just now i play asphalt, downright laggy, worst than my s2.
i was like what the hell....

so frustrated. tempted to flash back to stock rom.
but still miss paranoid features. luckily got do cwm backup before flash.

now restore back to 2.15.
hm....latest doesnt always means better. will stick to 2.15

the default one that comes with paranoid android.

i restore back to 2.15, play asphalt smooth like normal back.
not sure whats goin on also.

abit sick of these custom roms. seems like not really buttery smooth.
i like the extra features that custom rom add compared to stock rom.
but if they compromise on speed and fluidity and batterylife, its a no go for me.

thinking of going back to stock.
transfering my titanium backup files to my pc.
want use toolkit to restore now.

i never tested in a scientific way.

but gsm arena review, stock nexus7 can last 6.5 hours browsing, running their scrip in a loop.

wow, stock is really smooth.

I've had it with these cycles.
I started with
2.12 good
2.13 Nav bar bug, restore back to 2.12
2.14 good, no noticeable diff from 2.12
2.15 seems same as 2.14, but got extra clear all recent apps button
2.16 cause laggyness
2.17 dusan to try already.

I just wan to use it wit a piece of mind.
Duwan always checking for update, and the update may not even make it better. Hate to upgrade every week. Frustrating.

Now on stock no need care about updates. Peace.
Stock fluidity is really better than pa. Cm10 butter not fully working yet? Anyway stick to stock for now:-)

I feel frustrated at always having to check newer version of kernel n Roms to update.

Last I try Franco was r3. Now already r14 last I checked.
Ridiculous. I duwan to be part of his little experiment.

I just want a final product that works.

Playing wit custom Roms and kernel is fun at first,
I came to a point where I no longer feel the effort and time is worth the features they offer.

Stability>all.

Cna kernel running at 1.4 GHz. Over clocked.
Warmer than stock. Even inside case I can feel the heat at the cover.
Bad battery life due to heat.

Now on stock already 1hour 50 mins screen on.
5 hours 1 min since unplugged.
Still got 78%

CNA for me I cnt get more than 6 hour screen on.
The last time I tried was cna v3.4.

on stock rom, tablet no long stutter until almost hang when updating apps from play store.
i think its a paranoid android problem.

now using stock rom.
omg...the facebook app fonts so small.
i use to make the dpi for fb app 280 to get bigger fonts.

now on stock rom no more this feature. the fonts really too small la....sweat....

Lol...its not coming out next month la,
Its maybe announce next month, and definitely another2 or 3 months to be available here after the announcement,
see how long iPhone 5 announced, now still not here.

both also laggy. the frame rate worst than my s2.
i find it hard to believe also.
the animation when pull down notification bar also not that smooth.

stock one really better.
since this is a tablet, not phone, dont really need those toggle options and customizations.
stock is reeeaaallly good. think i may stay with stock permanently.

I use notification toggles.

u can root and unroot, lock unlock bootloader easily.
whats the issue?

you cant boot into cwm using volume down and power button.
need to plug usb into pc then only the button combo works.

i use this toolkit to flash back to stock rom.

this is what i do.

i make titanium backup of all my user apps.
then copy the titanium backup folder using air droid
(since MTP dont allow titanium backup files to be copy out, duno why)

then install the toolkit i post just now.
install, let it install the drivers. folo the instructions.

then use the toolkit to flash back stock rom.

but i never lock the bootloader back.

after start up, i send the titanium backup files back inside.
and restore my stuff.
