bro fisho went that one is pond 1 & 2. the ones you saw on his blog used to be pond 3 and 4 accesible from another entrance which is the oil palm estate. about a year ago that oil palm estate the pak guard closed the entrance d cuz inside got bangla kill bangla body left there 3 days no one found out untill smelly. from the pond 1&2 entrance also can enter to 3 & 4 but to access 3 & 4 (or they say this is Lake Tucunare, where the PB farming took place / bird sanctuary) you seriously need a Pajero equiv level with balls as big as coconut and skills to cross thru a broken concrete slab bridge.

for pond 1 & 2, it's basically sandy potholes which if using a wira, your mudguard behind will be scooping loads of sand / dislodged. after rain the potholes tend to store water and sink in deeper. maneuvering around takes skill. basic requirements Kembara / Jimny / Forester level will do. don't forget that you will need to carry 2 extra car batteries and thruster further lowering your car height...

with tackle rental it's kinda hard to find such places d.

just bring own tackle, head to exotic pond in rawang for night fishing. Kelana Laguna will be another great spot.

Tarpons like flies alot. But their jaws not very solid. If you hook the top portion of the mouth then very good. IMHO tarpon fights better than PB...

1$... i am in a midst of arranging something with kang tomorrow. see either EAK or somewhere else... might even go up sabak bernam for tarpon, or explore the new pond in KKB for kelah, or go stream walking for sikang in lentang... if kang's too lazy then i will go subang for that morning fix, then maybe leave the rest of the fishing on sat or sun. maybe jpond... or exotic...


i'll keep you informed on my wheregoings...

pb will go hit that frog as long as you pop them while they're in frenzy...

or the big ones will come out from the shoreline after you annoy them with the pops.
