em.. abu conolon i find not bad la, can take out the amplifier and become shorter n play bottom oso, so kinda multipurpose a bit, i got mine for 180 from kepong tackle, if not mistaken, only thing its a 1 piece rod. i saw from another forum, someone pulled out a 20kg GT with abu conolon pe1-3, not sure true or not, or u can go for pe2-4, 200++, kepong tackle, very good liao, unless u wanna go sailfish fishing, hardly need anything stiffer.
as for apollo, any rod will do bro, just make sure u wash after using
pulau angsa, i managed to talk to 1 old timer while at royal selangor yacht club, he say unless u very experienced and know where to go, else pulau angsa no fish lerr..tat uncle got personal boat, quite big, managed to pull out 7-8kg kurau    but i forgot to take pics....

u can do bottom with any rod, but reel must careful a bit cuz will get rust if not meant for saltwater
jigging usually ppl prefer shorter ones, easier to jig, and bottom there longer to kepit at ur ketiak

btw planning another sea fishing trip next weekend, as the water will start to turn GOOD, anyone wanna join? early morning till 5-6pm, Saturday, if cant book Saturday then Sunday. i need to know how many ppl going, then decide how big the boat, the bigger means the further we can go, and more comfortable, and hope i can get this uncle to bring us to all the secret places he mentioned. its a fibre speed boat most probably, not the wooden fisherman's boat, and life prawn as bait is included. anyone interested pls add ur name down here, ntg is confirmed yet cuz i cant confirm the budget as of now, but wont exceed RM150.

Met Trowachin last week in Subang and we had a short chat with one of his kaki who look very familiar.
he mentioned that CWS got more bite rates and landed like 40-60 fishes by half day.
Uncle Benny's place was in the range of 10-20 ekor only (including haruan and toman)
Price wise, almost the same.

Cos CWS only charging like 30 per pax with limitted 1 bujuk for 3 person to cast on. Boat is RM50 whole day but no motor or thruster.

So far have not landed any 40-50cm PB at CWS but normal size bout 30+ cm.

i got contacts to get member price in cws chalet.
if we're not planning to bring the chiqs then we wont nit to stay overnite.

Yeah fishing in CWS also allows you to access their facilities. Shower, sauna, swimming pool, coffee house..etc.

Well,... I really dont mind paying Uncle benny a visit.
If each boat can take 3 pax, its cheaper with Uncle benny splitting the 100-120 by 3 pax.
But need 4x4 is the headache, and some of our kaki got their own boats, can use Benny's thruster to tow the others.
If all in good, take 3 boats from Uncle benny and 2 on our own,.. we can have 5 boats out in the water.
thats 10-13 pax.

bro fisho went that one is pond 1 & 2. the ones you saw on his blog used to be pond 3 and 4 accesible from another entrance which is the oil palm estate. about a year ago that oil palm estate the pak guard closed the entrance d cuz inside got bangla kill bangla body left there 3 days no one found out untill smelly. from the pond 1&2 entrance also can enter to 3 & 4 but to access 3 & 4 (or they say this is Lake Tucunare, where the PB farming took place / bird sanctuary) you seriously need a Pajero equiv level with balls as big as coconut and skills to cross thru a broken concrete slab bridge.

for pond 1 & 2, it's basically sandy potholes which if using a wira, your mudguard behind will be scooping loads of sand / dislodged. after rain the potholes tend to store water and sink in deeper. maneuvering around takes skill. basic requirements Kembara / Jimny / Forester level will do. don't forget that you will need to carry 2 extra car batteries and thruster further lowering your car height...

You have thinner diameter than Braided, tough like FC and mono.
Only meant for Spinning reels due to the small diameter and extra smoothness.
