What I mean is by changing the muffler alone won't do justice, you need the whole exhaust system. Price also depends on the quality of the workmanship and of course the material and what type of muffler.
What type of muffler are you aiming for?

My current setup for my 92p
4-2-1 header + 2" mendrel bent piping with bullet and ends with S-flow muffler

what have u done to your engine? If minimal mods, use 1.8", didn't sacrifice low end torque that much If your head has been PNPed couple up with fast road spec cams, use 2"
|

urs is a chromed up extractor, once heats up, it will turn blueish brown and in the end the color will fade

if you wanna play camshaft, better port the head and do the intake as well as an oversized TB, finish up the combo. cam pulley to fine tune the camshft (optional but recommended)
Bottom block you can do later. If your car is a 1.6 to begin with, the head combo itself is very effective already

open pod with stock exhaust....the setup doesn't match Just get a replacement hi flow drop in filter
