QUOTE(smwah @ Jun 7 2006, 10:15 PM) I driving 1.3 manual. It seem my car lack of power. The RPM moves very fast but when reached 3000 it started to sound liao like going very high. Problem is 3rd gear can't move to 80kmph even the rpm reaches 4000. It makes u swift to 4th gear once it reaches 60kmph with 3000+rpm. And 4th gear can't reach 100kmph smoothly it just like you are dragging the car. The car just seem lack of power u need to step it further and longer to reach higher speed. RPM response fast but the speed response slow. Any problem with my car? There's a absolutely no problems with your car. I drive a 1.3 manual as well and I leave my revs way over 3000 rpm when I need to overtake safely. This is quite typical with small engine capacities -> It climbs the rev range very quickly but you're engine revs while cruising at high speed are naturally also very high (compared to say a 3litre car that might cruise at 2500 rpm at 100km/h and above). Maintaining high revs aren't good for the engine which is why people always use the bigger cars (engine wise) when going outstation. And that's why race-bred engines usually undergo an engine oil change every few hundred kms (compared to a stock car changing it's oil every few thousand kms) to keep the engine alive. QUOTE(jamik @ Jun 8 2006, 12:13 PM) my aunty can 1.3 can reach 160 Km/H wit 5 pasenger,, no touch up... I've clocked mine at 180km/h before (dont ask! ) but it takes a longggg time to reach that cos you've gotta really slowly and painfully creep up to that speed with some help from momentum. Umm...I hope I don't get told off by the thread starter or moderator for so many consecutive posts, but this is fresh on my mind now. Any iswara owners here suffer from flick-oversteer? My tail swings out quite violently when I turn in to quickly or tap the brakes into a corner. All other car's i've driven aren't so unstable into a corner Damn ultra-soft bouncy suspension This post has been edited by tyrion4: Jun 8 2006, 01:15 PM

well, if u put on 18" rim .. u need to korek and potong your body a bit aaaa . even 17" need to potong a bit to reduce the tyre from jejak your body la... best is 16" for iswara .. fit well and nice but a bit heavy if u don't have power stereng and u need to paut the stereng .. good excercise for your arm to paut the stereng .. ehehe. i'm on 1.5 sedan 15" sport rim .. fuel saver added (RM60 can go till 500KM +-) dunno now la .. piping change to a bigger one, not so big ... clutch bikin a bit (good pickup) easy for RPM to naik .. can go till 180 .. well, iswara sedan have a bit melayang at the tail when u take a corner with high speed .. i got that prob too.. maybe change your suspension and add bar just like feralee say would help .. i just let my outer look completely kilang standard to lari from polis .. only my ekzos give the trouble la .. hahaha. Any ideas on how much an adjustable suspension set would cost? And shock absorbers as well. The stock ones are rubbish. Meh...actually why bother. I'll upgrade to a better car after this. In the mean time...i'll just go tail happy.
N-gage: what's this fuel-saver thing that you added to your car? tell us more about it la

Hey guys, currently I am having a weird issue with this model, Let me explain.... 1. Firstly, my battery indicator will flash for a while around 2-3 weeks ago and then I brought the car to the service centre and they changed the alternator for me for free as it's still under warranty. 2. But after that, the problem still persist and although the battery indicator will not light up quite often, it will only light up in the early morning or when I have left my car for quite a long time AND when I am changing gear[means on the road and running]. Strange huh ? But after around 1-2minutes interval, it will not light up again... Seriously I am not sure of what the problem is and I manage to check my battery strength too and it measures at around 14.3+- with all my electrical equipments turned on. Anbody can tell me what could be wrong. Thanks...

Iswara "Ah Beng Edition" Owner here...Drives a 1.3 manual... I'm loving this car and so far it doesn't pose any problem to me(untill one idiot Honda bang my back last time, since then reverse sensor didn't work, lazy send for repair ) For me it's a decent car, excellent FC@RM0.14-RM0.18/km(depending where I go).

QUOTE(feralee @ Jun 8 2006, 01:41 PM) add bars change to lower suspension wrong, i did that once and it was worse. flick oversteer can be solved by changing to better front brake pads, as the rear drums for most sagas tend to lock quite easily. hell, if you're into drifting, check out the overhead ramp from Subang Carrefour to USJ, i drifted there with an accidental snapback
