same cell ID supposed to be the same speed, obviously its congested. =.=

my cell ID changed drastically if 3G down and when i told them about the cell ID, dey ask me "HOW DID YOU KNOW?"

Maxis is just running away from the problem. They can't solve their own congestion issue

need to add more tower, my place i think 1 tower supported 3.4 taman around it

yesterday i went to pc shop,mostly will go there to check the latest product...and yesterday..i saw the mr3420..but i forgot la to told them to keep it for me coz i not enough money la on that time..

and today...went i go there...mr3420 was gone so unlucky laa...somebody was bought it laaa...haiyaaa..that mine lorr..hahahaa...

only 1 unit there..so need to wait next order laa...

but i decide to buy online with my feveret seller..huhuu..

unlucky..cannot test mr3420 tonight..harrr...hancusss plann akuuu..

1.coverage area : not good mean bad signal RSSI.. >89

2.power of modem. : using modem mr3420 more reliable

3.heat : heating was the bad thing when u want get full speed

that all so far...

First of all

download these 2 file (DL_MF680_H3G_SE_EUV1.00.05.exe & DL_MF680_UMOB_MY_EUV1.00.02.exe )


- now take out your sim card from zte mf680
- plug it into your computer USB & wait for your computer to recognize it
- close any dashboard/modem software which pop up if any
- run this DL_MF680_UMOB_MY_EUV1.00.02.exe
- when the update button appear, dont click first leave it
- now go to my computer -> Drive C -> Programs file -> WIndow Service -> MF662 folder -> Copy everything out and place them in the temporary places ( * u going to need them later on )
- after copy everything in that MF662 folder under that folder, close the DL_MF680_UMOB_MY_EUV1.00.02.exe which is on
- now run this file DL_MF680_H3G_SE_EUV1.00.05.exe
- when the update button apppear, dont click update yet, leave it there
- now go to my computer -> Drive C -> Programs file -> WIndow Service -> MF662 folder -> delete everything inside
- go to the temporary place u copy * file just now, copy all them again
- go to my computer -> Drive C -> Programs file -> WIndow Service -> MF662 folder -> Paste * file u copy here
- now click the update button on DL_MF680_UMOB_MY_EUV1.00.02.exe
- wait for the whole update process to finish, ( take about 6~7 MIN )
- once update finish, remove your ZTE MF680 modem
- uninstall your old dashboard modem software first
- plug in your zte mf680 with your sim card
- install new u mobile dashboard

enjoy..

Coverage area okie, using mr3420, got fan cooling
Speed sux due to congested tower...
I have observed my connection for few weeks, only certain timeslot I will get frequent dc, ping timeout and get speed lower then 2mbps
Liport also no use...
I posted a lot of speedtest result, mdma printscreen screen and ping printscreen
The technician can't even differentiate timezone stated in my speedtest result and ask me to post speedtest result that taken in non peak time...
My speedtest was taken 3pm GMT, so it should be 1am GMT+8
Common sense but they still duno

Haha, i am able to connect to my company's VPN already.

Need to contact Maxis, provide your SIM card 20 Alpha/Numeric to them.

Then they will enable your SIM card for public IP. Change the APN to UNETP, done.

I go to watch movie also scan my phone only but I think I did print out when I check-in at airport.

but unetp QoS is much lower than unet for sure,

u might want to take note

Nice guide, after upgrade, signal significantly increase, more stable 45% -> 73%
But no more purple light
Now blue blink or blue steady only
In MDMA, instead of showing Turbo 3G+ , now it show DC-HSPA+
Speed same, cant notice any different
