this is how my car performing, rev/km.
seem like driving slow 80kmph doesn't save much fuel, but 95kmph more efficiency for low speed.
when driving at high speed, 145kmph is more efficiency.  hmm.gif

btw, this chart is for 1.3 FLX CVT, and light footer here  smile.gif
[attachmentid=3062294]

so it's similiar to david case, during his last midnight run, the faster he go, the lower FC he got.  brows.gif
after this, i will continuous drive at average speed 90~95kmph @ 2100 to 2200RPM to see the differentiate in my FC.
*
That means drive 145km/h is less consumption on FC???

Not less consumption on FC. Generally in long term, a BETTER FC.

It's not the speed you need to look at. It's the RPM. Presumably, what he's trying to say is that the RPM at that speed gives better FC then the RPM at the neighbouring speeds, e.g. 135 or 155.

I guess that's where the optimum torque/power band is in.

I'm thinking to bulk in a few of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Auto-CAR-2-52mm-Di...5468193&vxp=mtr

Lelong ones, about RM200: http://list.lelong.com.my/Auc/List/List.as...d=&PriceUBound=

Tips: If you see any gauge input range 0-1V, it's narrow band. 0-5V is wide band.

Drive fast alignment wont out, the uneven road that causes it in the long run. Added with kena pod hole, riding road curbs, soon caster/chamber all out. doh.gif

This morning I went to EON Glenmarie for 15,000km service, I feel not really satisfied with the service since they put Engine Treatment (X1-R) without my knowledge and forced to pay RM219.85 for the service+labor charge. I think if they knew my FLX SE doesn't have Magnetrap installed they would install and charge for it (I insists when I sent my car to Proton Edar service to not put it), I think it costs about RM60?. They asked whether I want my car to be washed, I've said no since I'm going to send it at my trusty car wash shop after the service anyway. They charge the X1-R for RM28.00 which I think is ok but still it's quite unethical to let the customer know what exactly they do with the car, when they show me the to-do list, it doesn't display "Engine Treatment" which is the keyword when they want to put X1-R inside.

I saw they treat one old customer who complained about his car producing weird sound at the back, this customer is waiting patiently while the people at the counter is nowhere....don't know where they go and took about 15 minutes to come, then that customer is talking politely about the problem of his car, then I saw the EON guy (as I would refer him smile.gif) just nod as if he's not interested to hear the problem then I heard the word "Biasa la...", then the EON guy just left the customer at his desk, he went outside and inspect the car, then come in again and he say "Encik boleh duduk dulu sementara service", I can see that the customer feel that he's being ignored and wanted to tell more of the problem, then there's another EON guy wearing orange shirt (I think it's mechanic?) receiving the key and head to the entrance, the old customer stopped the man and wanted told him about the problem, the orange EON guy just say "ye ye..., nanti saya tengok", the answer given to the customer should not sound like that..., I just wished that customer can be treated like allowing him to demonstrate the problem as he say there's a sound when going to reverse gear.

Then I was called by the EON guy and informed that the service is finished and I can proceed to the cashier, the charge is RM219.85, I asked the female cashier if a debit card can be used, she said no with a boring face (a face like telling I'm stupid or something), so I took out a cash of RM220, and I try to find a 5 sen within my wallet so that I can get the balance of 20 sen as I think it would be easy for her to give the balance back, but there's no 5 sen and I told her "mintak maaf, saya takde 5 sen", she hears me and continue with the boring face and give me back 10 sen which is incorrect balance, the weird thing is I didn't argue because I knew it was deliberate anyway and I'm already disappointed with the over-charge of the service so I don't mind a 5 sen rip-off, it is a sad day and I just wished I can be treated fairly.

At least my Saga is healthy, feel more power after the service, I press the paddle a bit it goes to 80km/h very easy, is it the X1-R effect or the new engine oil?, I think the engine is already break-in sometime ago, fuel consumption is good for a Campro but I did 90% highway, I think have single bar left (non-blinking bar) since last Sunday and traveled to Cyberjaya everyday (38km in one direction), last week I calculated 13.6km per litre.

sad to hear that. If I am that guy, he talk to me in such way, I will definitely shoot him and blacklist the SC and make sure everyone knows it. XD and it is like I would never pay for something I never demanded. Last time I went to the SC nearest to my house, also EON SC, it is during my lubrication service, then my first service they pour in engine flush. go back only i realised. next time i went i say no engine flush. then when i pay i looked why is it so expensive, then i saw the engine flush, I told him I edi say no to the engine flush, but the foreman say he edi pour it in. I insisted not to pay for it then the manager suggest i pay half lor. but i say no, i will never pay something i never requested. so no choice, the manager say the foreman need to pay, not sure whether is true. if that time he pour engine treatment I still no comment. and that was my last service there.

I get your point here, many people still surviving with their ranjiao M5. I'm glad I have the 522 with me for the past few months. I'm using it, counting me and my family life on it, riding on the road(comes to think of it, off the road as well), these 522 indeed much better than the M3. I wouldn't dare to even imagine many times of emergency braking whilst the car is running on corner, if the M3 still on it. shakehead.gif

The M3s? They're on my father's car. He was asking what would it do with so much thread left on the unused tires, so I gave it to him. If you ask him, Unker Stephen you not sked ar with the ranjiao M3 on your car? Then he'll probably tell you these are 1 of the best tires he tried in his life, reason being he has been with Sime Astar for the past 10 years doh.gif So, what's wrong with Sime Astar? I don't know, you go ask Unker Stephen sure he can tell you how bad it is compare to M3. sweat.gif

Again, I do respect you as our senior member, in fact 1 of the pioneer in driving a BLM. You have all the rights to comment. Again, is it really the tire that bad? Or the car and or driver itself? I'm just trying to emphasize, regardless how great the tire grip can be, and guess what... you're right. Malang tidak berbau. Be it Bridgestone Potenza for F1

I'm glad I have the 522 with me for such a bargain price. I live with it, and I'm happy with it. If 1 day I crashed my car, I guess you're coming infront point a finger at my noise and say,

p/s: Not recommended to change your spring at all. Original already sporty enough. If go lowering spring, I'm afraid you'll have sagat issue in the future when the springs run in. If you wanna cut spring, that will be a big no-no from me. Never encourage people to cut spring. God knows when the spring decided to jump out, either it penetrate your strut tower, or it jump off the car and you landed your car with the whole back chassis on the floor. doh.gif However, if you still insist, I got 1 full set of ZEMAX letting go CHEAP. PM for detail.
