QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Sep 21 2012, 04:54 PM) well, there's a loophole with JPJ law no,if there is led strip on the car handle, will kena,if jpj tinks dat the led will kacau other road user,is illegal also..it stated that any light modification and installation of additional lights as long as it is amber, yellowish, red or white color is allowed without the need of obtaining approval from JPJ. So basically, if you put your whole Saga with white LED strips, it is still legal by their standard. |

this is how my car performing, rev/km.
seem like driving slow 80kmph doesn't save much fuel, but 95kmph more efficiency for low speed. when driving at high speed, 145kmph is more efficiency. btw, this chart is for 1.3 FLX CVT, and light footer here so it's similiar to david case, during his last midnight run, the faster he go, the lower FC he got. after this, i will continuous drive at average speed 90~95kmph @ 2100 to 2200RPM to see the differentiate in my FC. Jz now while refueling at the Esso near Cheras Leisure Mall, a few youngsters were wandering the petrol station on their kapcais. One of them came near me when I was standing next to my car holding the fuel nozzle, then just as promptly wandered off. I was a bit puzzled but didnt mind at the time.
After the group have left, one of the station supervisor approach me and told me to "jaga sikit" if I see this group again and dont hold or wear anything valuable that is visible. According to him the other nite a motorcyclist group came to the station and snatched a customers gold chain. So pls becareful when refueling, lock your doors after leaving your car and keep your valuables hidden. If this is cruising RPM, then it is definitely something wrong dy Yeah, but that's what the label says At first I assumed Y axis was consumption in km/L, which is even more illogical 150 km/h at less than 2,400 RPM? My manual would be screaming at 5,000 RPM This post has been edited by lhwj: Sep 22 2012, 11:52 AM |

QUOTE(lhwj @ Sep 22 2012, 11:54 AM) Straight got EV la, since they already got gaga prototype Btw, from my observation using realtime instant FC reading fromthe OBD2, I find that it is more efficient to quickly accelerate to the desired speed than to slowly move up the speedometer. I dont mean slam the pedal, just apply enoug throttle to accelerate at the most efficient rate. you can tell when the km/l will decrease as you start accelerating, but will then slowly increase as you gain speed. The goal is to spend the least amount of time in the phase where km/l is decreasing. After you have reach the desired speed, maintain minimal throttle to cruise at that speed. For example, one nite I got cucuk by a MPV, so I full throttle to about 120kph and after smoking him I just slowly decelerate back to 90 to cruise. To my surprise, my long term avg km/l INCREASED!! Do note the above observation is on my car, dunno if it applies to other engines and trannys This post has been edited by dares: Sep 22 2012, 12:07 PM |
