Just got a call from my SA. He is giving me Agard tinted but if I want Agard security film tinted need to add money, around 1k extra. Anyone here use Agard tinted before??
Any advice and experience on this brand are much appreciated.
Thats for 2012 MPPJ give incentive for Hybrid cars,3 mths free parking....
Added on November 15, 2012, 1:50 pmHere consider another savings of RM300 for Hybrid cars on Parking ....
For Petaling Jaya residents only. So I don't get it. I am Wilayah Persekutuan residents but working in PJ. But still I know some place in PJ can get free parking bay without kena saman.

Something interesting to share.....OBD II Car tracking gadget....only thing is you need to apply for a sim card for it to track. Well...do we really need it?.... .....I know I don't.....
guys, anyone know how the LEDs on the official prius c with trd bodykit works? turn on small light or power on?
Good question.. ...I heard from somewhere that once you start the car it will switch "on". I don't know its true or not. I rather have it switch on with the small light.
no point much difference for 2 or 3km/l, correct me if I wrong....
it shud be comparing with the previous car u driving....
current now mine is less than 11km/l for a almost 30 yr old toyota corrolla
get a prius C theoretically is might get at least 30 to 40% better fuel consumption....
looks the PC consumption is quite similar to NGV but harder to maintain NGV & gas cheaper....
According to Toyota estimates the fuel economy 35 km/L (82 mpg-US) (2.86 L/100 km) on the official JC08 Japanese test cycles and 40 km/L (94 mpg-US) (2.5 L/100 km) under the 10-15 test cycle.
Under the United States Environmental Protection Agency test cycles, the Prius C is rated at 22.5 km/L (53 mpg-US) (4.4 L/100 km) city and 23.3 km/L (46 mpg-US) (5.1 L/100 km) highway, for a combined fuel economy of 21.2 km/L (50 mpg-US) (4.7 L/100 km), the same as the conventional Prius but better in city driving.
I think I trust the US rating more, if not those American will start to sue Toyota. but also depend how you drive

Just wondering do you guys updated the maps on the navigation? I noticed that the maps in the SD card is year 09, How and where can we update the latest map????
3. The engine very quiet n smooth, but when drive at 80km/hour above, lot of wind sound n tyre sound. 4. Cant sit 3 adult as the middle seat is higher than the 2 side seat, if an adult sit on the midle, he will block ur rear view. Plus the midle seat very narrow, only suitable for kids.
3) Install TOYOTA PRIUS C / AQUA (NHP 10) Venttec Door Visor(model:VT-M163-TY) to decreased wind noise.
4)Aiyo..... back row sit is for those very cute small size gals when go out for party!!!!! Not for guys!!!!! If guys want to follow take taxi la.....

I read quite a fair bit these few days on how HSD works and understand that hybrids can run on battery power alone for short distance. However, I still do not understand that why I do not see battery power (green arrow coming out of the battery from energy motor screen) kicks in to assist between 60km/hr-90km/hr even if I drive on flat highway road. Based on my observation, I can only see that when I going uphill and when I drive above 90km/hr. Having said that, sometimes that also powered by the fuel alone (orange arrow coming out from engine from energy motor screen).
Have you try the EV mode? Or your battery is below 3 bars.....
Flywheel hybrid, another hybrid technology with better battery efficiency, store more kinetic recovery energy than chemical type battery.
Looking forward to the new technology, perhaps it will replace the expensive and not so efficient NiMH/Li-ION battery in the next 10 years.
There are pros and cons on this system but if I think they can both combine than it will be a prefect system.
Why I say that is the flywheel hybrid has the power stored by these systems has much less potential vehicle range than normal battery-electric hybrid units. And the battery-electric structures lose kinetic potential during the conversion of energy from mechanical to electrical to chemical, and then back again. In general, flywheel systems have energy losses due mainly to bearing friction, which makes them less efficient than a battery-based system for storing energy for long periods of time.
if a combination of battery-electric and flywheel energy storage is probably the ideal solution for hybrid vehicles. Batteries are great for storing energy over long periods of time, but aren’t well suited for the shock loads of heavy draw-down during fierce acceleration and the subsequent quick charge-up of repeated episodes of regenerative braking. Unless carefully managed, these cycles (especially with sharp swings of charge/discharge state) can severely shorten battery life. It makes sense when in driving conditions, where short periods of boost are required in cut-and-thrust traffic, a flywheel would prove very effective. On longer highway cruises, the battery-electric system could provide steady, even-loaded boost to the vehicles main drive engine. This arrangement would allow each system to do what it does best while enhancing the other. The flywheel would protect the battery from shock loads and the battery would augment the flywheel’s short burst of power. And of course, the internal combustion engine would provide hundreds of miles of vehicle range while receiving assistance from the battery system and the flywheel unit.
Well this my thought but its still depend on the real world. As you know human are very selfish by nature and comes to technology. Are they willing to share between Japanese and the English major automotive manufacturers on this R&D?
Guys out of curiosity...when you received your PC, does the Multi Information Display are ready set up and you don't need to do any setting to it or there are parameters you still need to input in?

Under the Toyota Prius C brochure mention that the wing mirror is retractable. Does it mean auto folding when you stop your car? But I notice that PC wing mirror at parking lot doesn't fold. Please enlighten me, guys!!!
I booked mine on 31st Oct. But I manage to talk my SA on giving the Nov discount from UMW for 3k additional on top of the Oct discount. But I heard there are some giving 7k discount. So you better book one now, before the offer is over. Cheers!!!
