looks like got 2 models of GSM with LTE (A1428* & A1429* - different is the LTE bands based on tech specs), wonder will SG set model be the same as Malaysia. we can try cut n shave sim, cannot work just get replacement and use back the old phone while waiting for actual nano sim. replacement sim/microsim are inexpensive. if our local telco's roll out LTE we dont want to miss the boat.

really good idea bro , than u try it out first , if ok pls let us know , than we all go sg buy

Don't think Malaysia LTE is supported by iPhone5. MCMC approved 2600MHz LTE spectrum to all telco which is band7.

Neither of the models support band7. We are having the same fate as O2/Vodafone UK.

If you plan to use LTE in Malaysia, you may want to hold off for the moment until 4th iPhone5 model is out which hopefully support band7 by then...

My advise is, better hold off getting SG iPhone5 if you really need LTE...

That make me really re-consider to jumpship lol, i stil found my iphone4 stand strong , but i can't resist how fast the iphone5 is !!! mad.gif mad.gif

I think i know why Apple make the rear side become metal rather than glass?7 If not mistake i think it's because using flash + camera with too near distance , the glass will reflect the light of flash and end up will capture something weird light source or maybe weird picture , that why they change to metal rear cover?

Sure we are running on 1800MHz spectrum?

http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?f...80&sec=business

MCMC only approved on 2600MHz band7 for whole Malaysia LTE network... Unless something going on undertable..

Maybe you are right... Digi had given green light for 1800MHz trial by MCMC... not too sure about Maxis

So.. Support then.. She is one of the developing team in maxis.. So I trust her..

dude, dont underestimate digi. hehe.  biggrin.gif

Yes don't underestimate DiGi, I've worked with DiGi for 4 years, the company management and marketing team is solid strong. Without politic influence of controlling their spectrum to protect certain companies, I bet Maxis / Celcom would be very worried. Even now the 3G they have belongs to TIME on 10 year license, they are actually competiting in a very uneven playing field.
thankyou
