Have you tried queuing up for an i device launch on first day? I did it before in Australia, it was fun, thrilling and most importantly, the staffs in Apple store there are actually humans who understand everything instead of "half buckets of water" trained employees over here at resellers over here in msia 

Furthermore, based on usage wise, even if we are not the first batch people, our telcos should consider bringing in the nano sims first, for people who rushes down to sg to get the iphone 5 able to use their phone over here. Even by all means of charging RM25 for the freakin sim, i would just say "TAKE MY MONEY"

Personally, I find that interest for the new iPhone 5 is not as "hot" as the iPhone 4S. Perhaps, people were expecting too much from the new iPhone?

bro to be honest i think apple has done quite some innovation here. just that all these innovation cannot be 'seen' by normal everyday consumers.

for example, the phone is now thinner, lighter and has a bigger screen. bigger screen and faster processor wud need more power to run, hence bigger battery, but apple has done the exact opposite by making it thinner and lighter. i kinda call that innovation.

i know what you mean when you say that from the outside, it aint much different from the previous generation, but i think if you look into the details, apple did make a leap, although it might be a small one.

all that being said, i think its not as impressive the launch of the iP5, considering its september now, and all the competitors have already launched their phones in the summer. perhaps the general consumer would be more impressed if this was launched first.

But samsung already exceeded 2 Gb ram on latest device.

This round i wanted 16gb as i was having 32gb in 4s. Kinda underutilized. Oh yea, i still go for white.

that is your friend's fault. it depends what he installed and how he use

mine can last for 2  days with wifi+3g always on and emails+apps sync

anyway,hopefully my iphone 5 will delivers on 21st instead of next 2 weeks :/

couldnt agree more..after 1 week bought my s3, i already regret.laggy after instal several light apps.now i got poisoned by ip5.

samsung isn't that bad..its actually decent..but it is very asian, lower quality, focus on multi features...

Whereas you can notice the sense of quality in an iphone (put away the few hardware issues aside) it is overall better than the rest. It does not roll out new models that often, may not be packed full of features, but you can be assured that all of its features are pretty solid.
