Keep your 3 IK gears (so that you can keep your 60AR + reduce damage).

To make your life easier, perhaps you need to get Blackthorne's chest armor (220VIT + 3 sockets) & pants (2 sockets) to boost up your VIT.
You will lose some armor but I think it's not a big deal.
You'll be doing okay as long as you keep 6K of armor.

P/S You should be able to get at least 300-330 additional VIT from upgrading to Blackthorne's chest armor & pants.
But that's still not enough.
Change the gem on your helm to Amethyst.

If this is the case, keep your IK chest armor, go get Blackthorne's boots + pants.
You still get your 100 VIT bonus.

But I think you still have low HP.

I think your vile ward & strongarm bracer are replaceable too.
Replace them with VIT gears (without sacrificing your STR & CC).

Awesome build. We need you in the front line when Bliz launches PVP.

Looking at your profile, you already have 7.17K armor.
With or without WC, keep it that way.
You don't need to improve your armor.

Just focus on increasing your HP.

If you are fresh in building a WT barb, do get 300th spear.
It will give you a lot of damage bonus. It is the best weapon for WT.

For my case, I built a WW Barb.
The switching cost was high if I were to use 300th spear.

yes, assuming you are a 100K DPS barb and you get 146K damage (theoretically).
That is a lot of damage you get.

It is not easy to get 46K additional damage from gears.

Bad Ah Zhong, you make me wanna have a 2nd look at the 300th spear.

You got good gears. It is a right choice to get 300th spear.

Your HP seems very low. Is that the right number?
If it is, you need to increase your HP.

It is tough when you do solo and fight with 4 fire-walking soul rippers + arcane + desecreator.

For low MP farming, DH is very effective.

Assuming your Wiz is a CM build.
No worries, if you play barb, you don't need to spam your keyboard as rapid as CM-build Wiz.

Hahaha... then you can master WW Barb because it is less complicated than CM build Wiz.
(I mean less spamming of keys ).

I find you have low AR, CC and life recovery (through LS/LOH).
How do you find your survivability?
If you can survive, i think your build is sufficient.

Lastly, as you use skorn, I think it is better you use the skill rend.
Besides, you may need to replace some passive skills, i.e. berserker rage (it's not quite good as I doubt you can keep maximum fury when you fight with elites).

Looking at your DPS/Armor/HP, you should be able to do MP7/MP8.

What's stopping you from doing high MP could be low AR and life recovery.
So, you may need to improve these.

P/S Try replacing some of your passive skills.

Generally you do not stack enough LOH/LS/Life regen.

On the other hand, if you have enough LOH/LS/Life regen, you have higher life return when you hit 3 targets.

You have got a very power barb there.

Just to answer your question, for me, SOJ/Cold damage is meant for comboing with echoing fury.
You know fear on hit could be quite annoying at times.
When the monsters run, it will result most of our hits hitting air when we do WWing (and hence shorter WoTB, to some extent).
So, SOJ/Cold damage would come in handy in slowing down the movement of monsters when you sprint/tornado & whirlwinding.

You can search the similar discussion at BNet.

It just happened that you got an echoing fury (one of the top echoing fury?).
Are you going to WWing? Or build a WWT hybrid?
If yes, SOJ/Cold damage is a sweet sweet thing to have.
If you're not going to WWing, i think you just stick to your poison SoJ.
