What is 7.1.1 ?
I downloaded this app from playstore on one of my previous phone and since than has always used it on a large variety of Samsung, HTC, HuaWei, LG, Nexus phones without any issues
The latest was on Xperia Z ULtra on Lollipop 5.02. It works well too on Nexus 6 up to 5.1

I tried it and it didn't work keep on buffering

The version 6.3.2 cannot be install getting error on parsing the package while version 6.3.0 can't view the subscription even after refresh.

I dont know what else to do beside finding version 6.3.2 or 6.3.3 but the 6.3.2 which you uploaded doesn't able to install on xiaomi and etc.
If the md5 at dropbox was the same as your md5 apk at your phone installed , i guess the possibility astro 6.3.2 problem for specific devices.

As far as I know if one phone can download the app from playstore it should work fine
Those unable to download might or might not work after installing the apk.

How about you ? did it 7.1.1 latest version working ?
The apk you uploaded is same as mine with md5 checksum after md5 checksum.If yours 7.1.1 is working which means the apk choose devices.

As mention , I am able to install 6.3.0 but my subscription channel doesn't show up.
But I dont have 6.3.2 .The 6.3.2 version you uploaded last year at dropbox doesn't work and I felt the file size is totally different.

Maybe it depend on device , if you downloaded using a samsung phone , only samsung phone will work with the apk.But if you download using other brand only the specific brand work.

I had stated that I first downloaded 6.3.2 on a previous Samsung phone and in all subsequent phones I used, I merely restore it from a Titanium Backup. Thereafter several LG, Huawei, Sony, HTC, Nexus phones I had used has no problems with the app. Version 7.1.1 works well too on lollipop on Nexus6 n Xperia Z Ultra
Sorry no idea how to retrieve older versions from playstore and had never attempted to even do such stuffs

The new app does not function if the phone has been rooted. This is so silly. Anyone found a way around it?

I also wanted to know , why root phone cannot install.

Can I watch OTG free if having astro njoi subscribe ? all channel free ?

I am using super pack 165... the channels mostly included... even not included, the programmes are pre recorded that I can watch anytime... so, it's about 80% the same with my package... not too sure about njoi as I didn;t use njoi.... but, I think astro website FAQ will answer clearly all your questions..

anyway, pre recorded... most of the programmes are inside the app.. meaning, u can call out anytime when u wanna watch it... for example, the dramas... most drama can be playback anytime u want and I think they keep it for quite long... some already few months, yet still there... as for daily updated programmes like news and football games, normally there's no prerecorded ... highlight of football got.. u even can trace back few month's back highlight...

for aec news, it is pre recorded each day even when I missed it... but, since my package and yours (njoi) included AEC, I assume yours will be the same like mine: meaning, AEC is available live and most of AEC programmes are pre recorded for later viewing...

i was told Astro on the go app will not work on tvbox anymore, it will pop up message your device is rooted even though in actual fact the device is not rooted. Any one has any idea to by pass this checking ?
