University UNIC bus can be use how many times you want, from DPP to classes, or DPP to changloon (since the payment has been counted along with your university fees every semester)

Car Rental:
There are lotsa cars to rent for your leisure or activity needs.
Most of them for rental-purpose is Manual Kancil, but VIVA and Myvi can be requested (depends on availability). Prices range from RM5-7/hour.

There are two bus companies providing service for students to go out of campus,
UUM--->Changloon--->Jitra---->Alor Star(Pekan Rabu(2 shopping malls walking distance *)--->(Shahab Perdana(bus terminal)

There are canteens in every hostel, (prices varies)
Just a simple calculation: A plate of white rice RM1, 1 piece of fried chicken RM2 (normal size), veggies RM0.50-RM1, teh o ais RM1.20.

Olympic-size swimming pool, go-kart, golf field, kayak, archery, squash/badminton/basketball/etc courts, field & tracks, gym, sauna.
I believe UUM is among the universities in Malaysia that has good range of sports facilities offered, compared to others.

2)FGC : After the market that is situated next to public bank, (Second floor Shophouse)
Service time:Every Friday 8 pm.
3)Anyway there's another church (Shophouse) beside c-mart near the stationary shop (I don't know what Congregation are they from)

iii)Hindhuism: 500m from the junction that is close to the place car park to Hadyai(Car park is beside a restaurant called Kok Fong) in Changloon.

Through experience it is better to bring your own medicine if you have other than the normal dissease such as influenza and Cough and fever as the doctors have a tendency of giving Panadol for everything. The Flu medicine that they normally will give would be Pirithon. If you neeed something stronger such as Actify please bring along your own. they normally give you Jujube's for your cough.

Pharmacies
There is 3 pharmacies in Changloon as of my knowledge one is near the stationery shop to the left of C-mart,one is opposite bsn, and another one is near public bank area.

Chinese herbal shop
Changloon-there is one opposite public bank in (They don't sell much but herbal tea)
Jitra-There is one opposite 5 Utara Cafe.This one is call (Liang Shiong Di(In Mandarin)aka 2 brothers)(This is where you wanna buy your herbs for soup like Pak Zhen and Szechuan and etc etc)

Clinic
There is one next to the automotive repair shop,same row as Tai Kar lok Cafe in Changloon

Saya bertindak untuk menyuarakn pendapat kerana merasakan UUM adalah rumah kedua saya, yg sangat saya sayangi..Email saya ini adalah berkaitan aktiviti Pelajar yang di mata saya agak keterlaluan yang SKRG NI SEDANG HEBAT DIPERKATAKAN DI FACEBOOK DAN YOUTUBE... Terlebih dahulu saya nak tanya, adakah aktiviti pelajar dipantau sepenuhnya oleh pihak UUM, atau aktiviti pelajar dirancang sepenuhnya oleh pelajar sendiri?

untuk pengetahuan semua (bg yang tak tau lg la), terdapat 1 rakaman yang dimuat turun di youtube, dan ianya sedang hebat dipertontonkan oleh masyarakat luar dan sedang hebat diperdebatkan oleh masyarakat luar berkaitan aktiviti PELAJAR UUM..dalam rakaman tersebut, sekumpulan pelajar perempuan (yang syok nya ada yang memakai tudung) sedang ligat menari GANGNAM STYLE di atas pentas (boleh tgk melalui youtube bertajuk - IPTA GANGNAM STYLE)..atau terus ke link ini - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vczalAN11r8.
bagi pengamatan saya, aktiviti ni sgt2 bertentangan dgn ajaran Islam..dan ada pulak, sekumpulan lelaki (mungkin pelajar) sedang asyik dok menari di bawah dewan..dan keadaan di dalam dewan spt konsert atau dalam bahasa yang lebih kasar "DISCO"..mungkin persembahan ini hanya beberapa minit sahaja, akan tetapi dengan hanya beberapa minit ini lah, nama UUM sedang dicanang sana sini..

di sini, saya ingin berkongsi pengalaman saya menjadi student di sebuah IPTA di selatan tanahair..Di Uni saya, semua aktiviti pelajar sgt2 dipantau oleh pihak berwajib. bukan la student tak boleh buat aktiviti, tetapi ada peraturan tertentu yg perlu dipatuhi. spt pengasingan pelajar lelaki dan perempuan utk program tertentu (konsert2 nanyian), pelajar perempuan tak boleh menyertai pertandingan lakonan atau nanyian di khalayak umum (hanya boleh dibuat di dewan tertutup untuk pelajar perempuan sahaja), dan sepanjang 4 tahun di Uni tersebut, hanya artis NASYID sahaja yg dijemput untuk menghiburkan pelajar2...sgt2 termotivasi..

Di sini, saya memohon maaf jika terkasar bahasa atau menyinggung perasaan pihak2 tertentu. Saya sgt2 prihatin dgn nama Baik UUM, dan yg plg penting hala tuju student UUM..Saya pohon, pihak berwajib untuk menyiasat perkara ini, dan pohon supaya diperketatkan aktiviti student..

I really hate people who confine women, always say this cannot do, that cannot do, "just stay at home and do houseworks only". Girls also want to have fun. We're no longer in the 60's... oh wait, people in 60's have more freedom actually.
