hi guys, have a problem here regarding uum. i have a friend he applied for accounting course last year in uum but he turn away the offer due to his father commitment on him help run his dad business. now he wanted to carry on study izit possible? the fees remain the same or more expensive.pls guide. thx lot.

hi hirano, ya something like that he didnt register after he receive a form from uum through postman(registration form where it has matrix number one). so means he is not blacklisted rite?

He wanna apply for accounting course , how much the fees cost ? and also when have intake as well?

Added on October 31, 2012, 12:35 amhirano, jz some additional info. the process was like this. he get his stpm cgpa of 3.4. bought pin from bank nasional or where i forgot dy. then , he go to a website n key in details and with the pin. then after a few month receive a letter from postman but didnt register. so stil have chance to apply? it was 2010 that time. the 2013 intake is on sept?

2 sem? one is sept rite? another feb?
i got a stupid question here , hope u dun mind. let say if selected for sept intake , oct only go can ? means miss out orientation week and 1st lesson ?

guys, i just called uum jz nw. i ask the guy. seemed blur what he say.
I asked him gt two intake he said yes feb for diploma while sept for stpm holder. then i said my friend can only enter on october due to personal reason. the operator said can apply for sept intake 2013through upu but must write letter that he will continue on feb 2014.. gt such thing? i need help for clarification, hope u guys can help me out. thx lot.

means can defer to feb 2014 (sept intake) to only start studying or already jumped to 2nd semester straight? the personal reason i also not sure. but it relate to family matters which im not so convenient to state out. he took accounts, economy, pengajian am and perniagaan. econ n pa get A , ACC GET C , perniagaan B. all add up divide 4 get 3.4. the chance get acc course high?

oh,so oct-end of january no need go to uum ? can u pls confirm with uum since u r studying there.? it's ok if u not convenient. i know this is weird but with valid reason should be okay rite?

i just worried that the excuses he give might not be acceptable by uum. let say if say he was pursuing degree in other private/local institutions and will end on year end , do u think they will consider this excuses? can u pls ask for me as well if u happen see the person in charge?

guys,heard acc course hot course hard get. is it uum accounting requirement the lenient 1? checked upm stpm nid acc 3.0 only can masuk and usm lagi no nid say. the rest like nt so good in account. ukm n um can forget dy liao . how ar? any advice for m friend?

hirano,sorry if i offend u. this is my personal opinion.feel free to comment. i felt that acc better than other business field . let say companies were shut down due to economic recession , acountants can find jobs in accounting firm. what i mean was accountants career more stable than others....rite? take a hr manager or whatever managerial post, once companies close down or retrench there will be surplus of managers and this does not fare well for them....

i get your meaning. but what you say is totally opposite with what i had seen. i have a relative being retrenched in2009 as a branch manager and now working in an accounting firm. so far to date , she share with me her opinion and experience. i'm not saying accountancy is the best nor the most stable,but it is quite stable compare to others. one of my fren nw in uum econ course me and my fren might go in 2014 if we r lucky enuf to get selected ='(. i visited uum yesterday,very big like a jungle for dinosaur. air also fresh and can go thailand as well. ulu but fresh.haha.
