Oldfag here, graduated from UUM in 2007. The empty buses stopping at every stop in the middle of the night, hysteria from girls' blocks, the deer park haunted stretch near Muamalat college, the lecturer who dismissed a night class earlier because she saw something eerie, etc. I'm sure these are stories that have passed from generation to generation, their truths unverified.

Personally, during my years there, I've never encountered such incidents before. I used to walk back to college (Proton) from the DKGs alone after night exams (normally I finished earlier than other college mates). Nothing happened during those walks. I also used to walk from Pernas to Proton at unearthly hours (2am, 3am), but nothing happened. One time I was halted by those UKs riding in a van. I was wearing a white t-shirt and long black pants. They called me over, asked me what I was doing wandering in the dead of night, and left me alone after I had explained. I think they were more afraid of me than I was of them, haha.

Does Proton now still have the water problem?

It used to be the first college to have water problems ahead of every other college because it is built at a slightly elevated level compared to other colleges. Block H (if I remember correctly) was one of the first blocks to feel it.

I remember being very pissed off when I came back from classes at 5.30, 6.30pm and finding out there was no water and the toilets were full of shit. Literally.

I'm assuming that they use it mainly for student activities - e.g sending representatives to a competition etc.
