I see, so based on your recommendation, HK SS III's SQ is better than corsair sp2500?
Few things to add. From my memory comparison, SS iii still boomy like SP2500 except they have better treble. Listened to SS iii from ipod and Mac at Apple store, and to my ear they just a little better than SP2500. 4 satellite at each side, of course they will be better than SP2500. But who knows their true performance when played from a better source. Plus, I can't test full potential of the speaker at Apple store.
But SP2500 sensitive to your source too. With T-Muso, more bass quantity but less impact, but no harsh. With UD100, the obvious change is in the clarity. Beautiful treble but can be mood killer in rock, or metal song. But the bass less boomy, and more impact added. IMO SP2500 more suitable for closed range, for computer desk purpose. Their bass sound weird when I used them as a TV speaker as I sit 2-3 ft away. Maybe due to the sub design it self.
If you ask me which one, I prefer SS iii than SP2500. I spend long time with my SP2500 and I think I want to change my speaker. The sound is not my type. That's why I love my Senn HD600. Sound are clean, clear, and the bass not boomy but have a good impact to music, and prove adequate bass on demand. Treble freak.

hey boss, just realized that you're nembiak kuching haha. I am keen on getting the sp2500 but the thing is i cant find it anywhere in kuching. can only find those logitech speakers everywhere. even high end edifier is hard to find. can get here in lowyat, but then the postage fee already 100++. T___T so my best option to save cost is only the soundsticks. I can get those HK SS iii at any switch, so that's why I'm planning to just grab the soundstick.
may i know where you get your sp2500? thanks in advance.

Hey Pok, I just realize you from Meow meow too.

I bought from KL, and I ask my cousin to bring from KL.

Logitech speaker really not my type. I prefer Edifier anytime. Logitech bass,

. Another good thing about SP2500 is they really functioning as a multimedia speaker. I can change the mod anytime. I know it's just built in EQ but it's really a bonus. If I play classical or instrumental, I just change the mod to classical. If I listened to EDM, hip hop or R&B, I just use dynamic pop mode for more bass impact. And change to pop EQ. I want to play FPS, change to FPS. If I want to emulate large hall sound, just change in the control pod.
