Hello sifus,

Any recommendation for a 2.1 speaker setup for my desktop without breaking the bank and good looking? I want the speaker to be wall mounted.

Been looking at the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 and they look perfect. But it's 900+ at harvey norman  rclxub.gif

Budget around 400-500.

Thanks!

Hey guys, my budget was around RM250 but I might be willing to go up a little. I'll be using it mainly for music. Don't game much anymore sad.gif .

Bedroom use paired with rMBP.

Comes down to these Edifiers:
HSC2330 (maybe not.. cause it's quite a bit more expensive)
R1280T
P3080M
M3250 (maybe not?)

What do you think?

For music, i will recommend you order R1280T.
If you can top up, i will recommend you order R1700BT, which came with Bluetooth connection feature.

Hi audiophiler gurus and sifus..
i need some help.

I'm in between speakers, whether it's (2010) p3080m and (2007, discontinued) m3400.. both has the same spec 6.5" bass unit, 3" mid driver and 3/4" tweeters. I would like to test them both myself but i cant find these units anywhere from where i live and buying online is the only choice i have.

There a lot of review of m3400, it even got 5/5  ninja star from ninjalane review. But how about 2010 model p3080m? Can someone who own this model step up and give some reviews on that matter. i like p3080m design more, so i hope someone can shed some light on the hearing experience. It may have the same spec, but p3080m got a newer amp with features that may contribute to noise (someone told me this, i dont know) Or it might be better than m3400. If anyone can help, Tell me about your verdict, is it well balance between bass unit, mid range, and tweeters. Is the bass tight or more like muddy boomy sound.

You can also provide other suggestions, my budget is tightly between 200-250.

and is there anyone who have experience buying from castleIT or pinneapple computer? You can also reply to me.

Sorry for the long post. Have a potato.

The sound characteristic of P3080M very similar to M3400, the only different between this 2 speakers are P3080M got Mic Input for Karaoke and USB player.

looks are very subjective.
I am by no means a judge for art as some calls a big white canvas with a small black dot as a masterpiece

I personally find wood pretty compared to plastic. So any wooden speaker would first look pretty

Have a look at HiVi M20W or M10.

I can't give a full review but my small impressions of it is not as good sounding as the Edifier C2X of similar price

I can say it doesn't sound as full as the R1280T (a speaker from edifier that cost cheaper)

It's bass isn't as impressive but for it's snail design its reasonable

Overall it is a design priority speaker that sounds good but not the other way round icon_rolleyes.gif

I'd buy it for design

Hi all experts here, pls recommend me 2.1 speakers for music/gaming/movie. Budget is rm400, I need a speaker with the best sound quality(low/mid/high) i can get for my $$, I dont need a loud speaker, saw some review of some speaker have problem/sound issue when turn the volume up too high, i will not have problem with that as i never turn my volume over 50%.

I'm looking at Edifier S330 but wondering is there any better option in that price range.

Thnx in advance

Hi guys. Need some advise here from the expert here.

I am looking speakers for music listening mostly classical music and not so much of loud music (bass).

Budget from Rm 300 to RM 600, depending on whether the extra bucks are worth it or not.

Can anyone please recommend?

Currently looking at Edifier R1700BT

Cheers!

Since your budget is from RM300 - RM600, i would recommend you give R1900TV or R2000DB a try.

Hi, for ur budget and from your preference, you opt for sth in high clarity but not so bassy...how about MIFA x5? http://www.mifalife.net/en/product-id-46.html
