later i post a video with d3s and proper mic

planning on getting a 2.1 speaker set for gaming+music+movies.. decided on hcs2330 + asus xonar DG sound card? is this setup good? soundcard + speaker budget around 450..

and does edifier c6/ Da5000 Pro works with tv+media player? for home usage.. if yes, which should i go for? kinda thinking of going with C6..

You can jump straight to Edifier C3 without a soundcard first.
If you are not satisfied then only upgrade it next time

Edifier C6 is for light entertainment
DA5000PRO suits TV usage more


though both are able to connect to tv media but DA5000PRO performs better

i also thinkin that the swan might be better hoho swan is about to arrive in malaysia within this month i am going to test it out once it arrive and get one too hahahaah

tested both the r1600t r1900t3 and the r2600 studio not sastisfide with the r1600 r1900t3 and the r2000 the high sounder abit harsh the r2600 is ok but the size is huge i don know is the file quality or the speaker problem because i test it in lowayat. i am going to wait for the swan to come and than test again

is kind of weird....myself also found c3 sound better than s530 (probably just personal taste problem)

cuz C3 sounded more 'colorful' than s530 especially the treble part

i see, s530's treble quite dull to me...and very directional and narrow (soundstage)

Thanks.. will go for Da5000PRO for tv media.. as for the speaker system for desktop, if not getting sound card first, my speaker budget would be 300-350 sifu.. IINM C3 is rm430 (based on Viewnet).. any suggestions?

recently I was introduced to sound bar by a friend of mine. It was amazing sound. don't really remember the brand. for me like the same with 5.1 set up.

so is a sound bar really worth it or a 5.1 set up better?

Soundbars are for setups that have limited space. They do not sound as good as a real 5.1 speaker setup. Of course, 5.1 speaker setup is way better.

can i know what brand and model of the soundbar? To sifus, can soundbar be set to laptops?



for my desktop set, between edifier HCS2330 vs logitech z-506.. which should i go for.. both almost similarly priced.. do i need to get a soundcard in order to maximise the logitech speaker? my setup is as in siggy..

if you have enough budget for sound card, then i suggest you add it into speaker's budget, since this price range speaker wont get much improvement from dedicated sound card

Tried Gigaworks T3 last week. Quite impressed with it's size to sound ratio. Not bad at all. how does ot stamd compared to the Aego M?

t3 is like mars... got river no water
aego m is like earth... perfect completion

aego m provide a more sweet mids but the bass has much more lesser impact compare T3~

I listen to any, but not much on bass. But it would be better if the bass of the speaker is good.
