He is a key player and silent worker who doesnt get as much recognition as other attacking players. Agree that he has dived less than before |

Agree that he has dived less than before i dont blame u actually, just i kinda annoyed every time people calling him a diver. yes he was before but he really improved a lot ever since. to me he is one of the best cm/dm in our squad. he is a key player in building our play, his one touch passing is amazing but i pity him as he rarely get recognition he deserved. anyway when i first watched that neymar's diving video, im too silently said in my heart, welcome to barca |

But now he also stopped. Lets hope Neymar will be the same |

QUOTE(sinoffire @ Jul 28 2013, 07:18 PM) may i know why barca chose this new manager? who is he? what has he accomplished to catch the eye of the barca board? 1)because the board reckons he is the best person A- To get the best out of our players, not every manager can play a squad which average height is shorter than most other youth squads, let alone full grown squads. B- who has the nous of the tiki taka football ala Pep's good old friend Bielsa henceforth ala Pep. C- speaks spanish, a language all players understandAll in all, the club wants a person to continue Rijkard's/Pep's legacy, play attacking and dominating football. Whether tiki taka is still the way to go is debatable. Pep's version of tiki taka is the tweaked version of the Dutch's total football, so all Tata needs to do is to tweak Pep's version of tiki taka to overcome the shortcomings of the previous tried and trusted system, but still playing beautiful attacking football. Can he? He'd better because that's what the board is banging on. Achievements - Not much. Paraguay NT under him went to quarter finals of WC (losing to eventual winners Spain) and final of confeds cup. Won a few paraguayan league titles, and more recently also carried a Newell's team into the semifinals of the copa libertadores (losing to eventual winners Ronnie 10's Atletico Mineiro on penalty shootouts). Before this nobody knows him, so maybe true Messi's pulling the weights around the club? |

QUOTE(Sifha238 @ Jul 29 2013, 06:20 AM) Just because Messi want him, first time I see big club hire manager solely based on 1 player recomendation I'm not saying u are definitely wrong, but it is a baseless accusation. But hey, if any player can make or break a manager's appointment and career, let him be the best player in the world. Kobe had his second coming, after the departure of shaq. Who better to compare to if not Kobe (if we are talking about player>>>club situations) Maybe we shall have Pep one day, but without the like of xavi and iniesta, but with someone in the mould of Pau Gasol of football, and maybe lift the UCL again? Hahaha...Thirdly, although the verdict is still out on the current board with sandro on the top, i think sometime he needs to be more decisive and less hesitant. But not getting a great mandate, in fact hated by many socios doesnt help either. But he is putting all his egss into this messi basket, hopefully it will pay off ala lakers. Although Laporta, with all his mistakes and his secrecy about them, he did achieve a lot and went from strength to strength with us. Do we want him back? Debatable, as he also left us in a financial state of sh!t, which is according to Sandro, so nobody knows if it is true. Second coming for Laporta guys? |

Pep and Tito dont have any success as manager when Barca board pick them as head coach, they just manage Barca B, still they give Barca trophy |

But fans will still be worried at first with Tata's lack of track record, and will be more confident as Tata win more games. Last time, I was so doubtful when Pep lost his first league game. But it turned out to be the only few games they would lose that season. As for Tito, he inherited a great team with all the systems in place. Take no credit away from him, but his job is easier than Pep who rebuilt the whole team. |

He milks sometimes which annoys me too but it's getting really rare for the past season. I wonder if Pep or Tito or any of his team mates every sit him down and try to talk him out of it. I would've definitely done it. |

I'd say Tata has a better track record than Pep and/or Tito.Managing a World Cup team to QF and Argentinian club in the league and Copa Liber (sp?) is a different kettle of fish to Tercera Division (3rd division of La Liga). |

You seem to have already made up your mind that Busi and Pedro are serial divers. If you have followed their careers properly since many years ago, you would've known that most of the dive fame was from the El Clasico encounters a couple of seasons ago. |
