QUOTE(davidcch07 @ Nov 5 2014, 10:24 AM) I think he mean no charge for dividend as you asked about dividend which I think wrong term?I'm using DBS vicker as it can link directly to my DBS account (buy and sell, debit and credit fund). The fee quite reasonable. However, others like Maybank Kim Eng almost the same fee. https://www.dbsvonline.com/english/Pfee.asp#2 This post has been edited by almeizer: Nov 5 2014, 03:29 PM |

Hi guys,
Let's say one of the SGX REITS issue div, what would the procedure be like? do they charge any fee for transferring the dividend to your bank acc (msia bank acc)? |

QUOTE(ShinG3e @ Nov 6 2014, 06:30 PM) Hi guys, if u are with msia based nominee account, sg dividend paid to this nominee acc will cost u something.Let's say one of the SGX REITS issue div, what would the procedure be like? do they charge any fee for transferring the dividend to your bank acc (msia bank acc)? cimb charge flat sgd10 for each div payout. so, if u get a small div, say sgd30, 1/3 is gone. maybe other brokers charge less, i dunno... |

Makes no sense doesn't it? after exchange rate spread, bank charges, agent charges, commission.. might as well put it in FD cimb charge flat sgd10 for each div payout. so, if u get a small div, say sgd30, 1/3 is gone. maybe other brokers charge less, i dunno... |

They mentioned that All foreign dividends will be credited into your trust account. There are no charges involved. so nice? EDIT: They mislead. They resend another email. lol. All foreign dividends will be credited into your trust account. Should you have Multi Currency Settlement, dividends will be credited into your trust account in SGD. You may refer to My Account >> Transactions >> DN/CN (Currency: Singapore Dollars) Please refer below for the charges on foreign dividend charges: Agent Handling Charges SGD6.00 Bank Charges SGD0 Our Handling RM10 This post has been edited by ShinG3e: Nov 7 2014, 11:25 AM |
