If dividend yield is about 8%, then your golf trust, aims.
If about 7%, manulife US, MGCC, FCT?
*
Golf trust, not so sure.....but I bot this counter at 51 cents.

Manulife is lower than 7 % . AIMS is good but industrial.....

Seems like ALL japon Reits kena privatized. Saizen, now Croseus........alas........

actually at current price 1, the yield is about 7.15%..I am pretty sure u can find a new home with higher yield for those SGD u cash out
*
Think SG yields are compressed. Getting 8% will not be so easy. 7% depending on risks

I got nothing to topup. Price don't look attractive for me.
To topup
1. FCT
2. MCT
3. MLT
4. Aims
5. FLT

To buy
1. Hotung (must get at 10%)
2. UMS/micro mechanics (must be 6% above)
3. SATS (if can get 4.2%)
4. ST engineering (if can get 4.5%)
5. Manulife US (if I can get 7%)
6. Dairy farm (must get at ~USD7)
7. DBS (if price is SGD14+)

DJ Betting That Croesus Will be Acquired -- Market Talk

While Croesus Retail Trust (S6NU.SG) gains after disclosing a buyout approach and initial negotiations, Citi being named the financial adviser for the potential transaction is an indication a deal may be imminent, some say. The company, which operates retail properties in Japan, has a near-S$750 million ($535 million). Croesus rises 3.7% today to hit 4-year highs.

Do you guys still going into Croesus ?
*
what for?
For arbitage which no one has any idea of the proppsed price.
Or the the yield?

on the yield. Now got cash but not sure which to go in ?

still thinking either Aims or Croessus.
*
i guess for yield, it is worth looking at since the last strong quarter.

i am adding some aims because my Croseus is very top heavy on my SReits

If having more than 10,000 units, do you consider is heavy ?

how abt other reits in hand ? which one is your favorites too ?
*
By heavy i meant the portfolio spread. My Croseus is occupying more than 50% value of my portfolio.

problem now is there is not much value in SReits now.

i have Aims, Accordia, Cambridge, Soilbuild, First

Boss,

why never consider adding these reits into your portfolio - CapitalComm, Capital Mall, Suntec, Keppel R, Keppel DC and Mapple GCC ?

yields are a bit low for me.

Wow bro,... Croesus at 50% of portfolio,... did you buy into this 50% or Croesus grew itself into 50% occupancy of your pf ?

You are heavy on the SG Industrial REITs subsector,...
*
i bought a lot of Croseus when it fell to 83 cents because the yield was quite stable. Then bought converted the rights later.
So accumulated quite a bit. Price was around 85 cents for a long while till recently.
It also grew in propprtion because i trimmed my industrials.

Ok, bro,...

Yeah, the thing abt Croesus is : we have to be prepared for cashcalls. YOU must have taken up a lot of their Rights Issues,...

You trimmed yr industrials and moved the funds over to Croesus,...for myself,.. I would have diversified to more ctrs instead, if something happens to Croesus, it's going to be painful.
*
So far, their Croseus earnings is pretty consistent. Aim to build up for retirement.

That's the reason someone sees the value in the company. Actually, my trimmings resulted in cash build up.
Cannot see any bargains presently.
Managed to hook some Aims earlier in the year at 1.25 and some Soilbuild at 0.635.

Fishing needs a lot of patience. laugh.gif

Think for Sreits, it is better to wait for correction now. Not a lot of bargains and economy is not exactly growing.
