For those want to open Maybank KE, take note that to open their Multi-Currency e-Pay (MCEP) together with a USD account as the min amount to keep inside the USD account is USD1.
Will do it this trip. Can use USD to buy Manulife. If deposit cash also min 1% charge. Better than DBS MCA. http://info.maybank2u.com.sg/personal/depo...rency-epay.aspx kart, elea88 This post has been edited by Ramjade: Mar 9 2017, 06:03 PM |

QUOTE(gark @ Mar 10 2017, 11:09 AM) MY Reits got nothing to do with US as the loans are all within Malaysia. SG on the other hand borrow interest rate from US. I wonder how was SG FD before the 2008 crisis considering interest was at ~6% in the US... |

QUOTE(gark @ Mar 10 2017, 12:48 PM) If rate hike, the hiking currency USD will jump.. but looking at current market looks like muted response... USD will hike but you know RM is sort of "pegged" at 4.45-4.46. So how to move. lolNeed more panic.. The thing is I don't know how the RM/SGD will react to an increase USD |

QUOTE(elea88 @ Mar 10 2017, 05:25 PM) QUOTE(Showtime747 @ Mar 10 2017, 05:35 PM) Ya...but need to keep some amount to keep my RM happy. I think my account still earn 0.xx% but I don't bothered to find out. Waiting for the next suitable structured product. Maybe should just keep the minimum AUM and transfer the rest to CIMB. But need to open a CIMB account first. To maximize return / save cost like ramjade Sad to say I learnt that trick from a Singaporean. This post has been edited by Ramjade: Mar 10 2017, 06:41 PM |

QUOTE(gark @ Mar 10 2017, 11:19 PM) I said .. not always... What's wrong with CMT? The manager seems to be ok. Gearing, returns, more or less ok. They have 16 suburban malls which can be defensive. I would like to hear why you say so so. I like FCT, so so for CMT.. You can buy saizen now, it will RTO for sime darby aussie assets tho.. The RTO was aborted So how to do RTO some more? QUOTE(gark @ Mar 10 2017, 11:36 PM) I think CMT properties do not have much potential to have positive rental revision. Dpu is also mostly flat. But still ok for now. Ok. When will we know if Fraser Commercial Trust succeed/fail in their lease agreement with HP? RTO is reverse take over, where a company take over an empty listed company and inject properties. It will be likely a share reverse split and follow by a big rights issue. RTO can only fail if dont get shareholder approval. I have not follow saizen for some time so i am not familiar with the details. |
