QUOTE(AVFAN @ Mar 16 2015, 12:41 PM) actually, it's more about that particular reit, ireit global - offices in germany, revenues in euro, reit price in sgd. that sucks at this time with the euro down the tubes. other sgx reits are holding quite well. It does affect.. over time .. with the strength of USD You rather hold MY, SGD or USD REITs provided they have same DY?

QUOTE(apagranpa10 @ Mar 18 2015, 08:59 AM) Thats weird. Are u serious ? there was a couple of reports in the media about his worsening condition. fx... nothing significant... still 1.39/usd, 2.66 to rm. very old man, u know. sg gomen is surely trying to manage the news, sgreans to give the world status statesman a good humane farewell, not a political or economic one.

Soilbuild REIT: Agreement with JTC on rent payable for Solaris Soilbuild Business Space REIT (Soilbuild REIT) announced that it has entered into an agreement with JTC in relation to the dispute over the land rent payable to the latter for the Solaris property. Under the agreement, the parties have agreed on the conversion of the annual land rental payment scheme under the lease of the property to an upfront land premium payment scheme, which works out to be S$74m. SB Solaris, the master lessee of the property, has agreed to bear S$19m of the upfront land premium, while Soilbuild REIT will bear the remaining S$55m. SB Solaris, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Soilbuild REIT’s sponsor, has also agreed to extend an interest-free loan of S$55m to Soilbuild REIT in demonstration of its sponsor’s support. This loan would be repaid on the expiry of the master lease agreement on 15 Aug 2018. On a pro forma basis, this development is not expected to have an impact on Soilbuild REIT’s FY14 DPU given that the loan is interest free. Maintain our BUY rating and S$0.93 fair value on Soilbuild REIT. (Wong Teck Ching Andy)

QUOTE(Vector88 @ Mar 19 2015, 11:24 PM) Sold some reit lately..collecting cash while waiting fed to drop the bomb within this year... Then can start collecting... not a bad idea. fed bomb in jun, jul, sep, oct... that's the wait. but if all that expectation is being priced in now, the actual hike itself may be a sort of "non-event"...?

good read: QUOTE Singapore's situation is unique as its central bank makes use of the exchange rate, not interest rates, as a monetary policy tool. The Monetary Authority of Singapore steps in to buy or sell the Sing dollar when it goes too high or too low relative to a basket of currencies of our major trading partners. - See more at: http://www.straitstimes.com/news/business/...a.HvGlO6jK.dpuf

For overseas applications, please have all the application forms signed and witnessed by a Notary Public or Commissioner for Oaths, including a notorized copy of supporting document i.e. Passport, and send them to us by post at: -
