when i read the sentence saying philips earphones/headphones really suck... i thought you will be getting alot of flames from lynians. hehehee!

i used to own the 890 and 895... and to be honest... i love 'em!

just got back from Wan Chai PC Centre. 1 shop offering the er6i for HK$980 while others offered HK$998-1080 wink.gif

But the problem is...if i buy and bring it back...how do claim warranty larrrr since it's ok HK warranty doh.gif

RM426 is pretty ok, discountheadphone would sell them for around 110usd shipped. a used er6i is alot cheaper but not everybody likes used earphone...let alone "in" ear monitors laugh.gif

the problem is whether they are worth it or not. I didn't like the er6 one single bit, how much can the er6i deviate? as for the ety er4, tha's a different story. it's by far the best iem at <usd200 that i've tried. anytime eat up the e4 alive. if you wanan be safe, just fork out a little more for the er4.

but anyway, really like them. really block every noise including those noisy buses and trams in HK here smile.gif

hmm, found out that even though it really closes up my ears. still finding some ways to listen properly on my left ear cos the flange position a bit cacat huh.gif

yeah it takes time to practice using the triflange. for the mean time, maybe u just wanna use the foamies, that gives IEM n00bs tongue.gif the best seal. when u are used to the triflange, it's damn easy to use, just put it in, twist a little and u're done.

Kiljim,
funny thing is in the package, got 2 pairs of 2-flange. 1 pair big and another pair smaller and 1 more pair is foam type. i just changed to the smaller 2 flange pair and happily using it.

just now tested it in the hotel room, listen to songs and my roommate turn up the tv's volume to 60 and i can't hear a single thing biggrin.gif
