if budget below 200 then go for sony ex81, super balance sound
if budget more then u might wanna get an AKG... dun get BOSE cos low value for money

where to get sony ex81?

the last pic on that sony earphone is ex81? don't seem to find it in sony's website

nope, that's the Qualia MDR-EXQ1. It's limited edition I believe, either that or the production has been discontinued. They cost a few times more than the ex81

I'm not very familiar with earphones since they don't really have much resale value so I dun really play with them much. But yeah, there are MANY earphones (IEMs, Canalphones, and etc) that are better than the sony. It all depends on how much you are willing to pay

get real, just give us your budget so that you'll get some reasonable suggestions

wanna ask something here y u guys change earphone?ain't the default ipod earphone are good enough?

how good is good enough?

for some ppl, a Kancil is good enough
others spend 20 times that price on a BMW which does the same thing

if u feel your earphones are doing fine for you, then just keep to it and u get to save some cash
others feel they want better, so they get better ones
"good enough" is a matter of oppinion
